A horrible quandary which no doubt we all share. Before the match started, my only hope was that both teams would rack up a huge amount of long-term injuries & a handful of red cards each. 10 mins into the game, my mind was made up when the blue scum supporters had their 'it's not fair' demonstration. Cheeky bastards - they cheat then complain when they get caught! I might even stretch to scum going into double figures if this pathetic nonsense continues .....
Almost hoping Harrison gets a broken leg. Shyt tactics as usual from the ginger whinger he makes sure any scum player gets hit from behind to make them move the ball quicker. Scummers taking too long so getting bruised. The Dutch fella needs to get a grip of his useless mannequins because Pickford is last man and on the half way line so should be simple to score against this high line but fooking about tippytappying and getting caught.
Couldn't care less about either Everton or scum tbh. The one thing I will say is that the goal is about as good as you'll ever see. If it proves to be the winner then it's certainly a good enough finish to win any game. I detest the scum bastards but that finish got me out of my chair it was that spectacular.
I hate scum, but I want them and anyone to tank Everton this season. If they stay up its hardly a punishment as they will recieve near on 100 million next season for stopping up **** them
I hope we don't give him as long as Roberts. Firpo has been occasionally useful going forward but he's no defender - and that is what we need.
Watching the scum V Ginger blues showed a kid called Kobe Mainnoo who was MoM before coming off on 65mins 18yo looks the dogs and the other kid Garnacho are way better than the sum of the scum team
Watched both games. Everton are awful and shows you how bad the three that went up are all going to go straight back down despite a 10 point deduction for them and a really crap Bournemouth. And how the hell are Villa in the top four, they were bloody awful as well.
Unfortunately injuries have held Firpo back, which means as soon as he starts to hit form which even you began to admit last season his body let's him down and it's back to square one again. Needs to stay fit now until the end of the season and if he's not able to do that I'll agree we'll need to replace him.
You're going to have to back that up by quoting me saying that he's hit any sort of form whilst at Leeds. I think the best he got out of me last season was that he did OK against league 1 Accrington and maybe that's his level.
Distinctly remember you saying he was playing well and that was definitely in the PL. Not sure when exactly but I also remember responding that as soon as he had a bad game you'd be on his back again
Also why does every manager we've had since Firpo came to the club keep picking as a starter if he's so useless ?
This team are good enough to go up, unfortunately Firpo isn't one of them, its true what Milkboy says he has a left foot unfortunately he has 2 of them
And there you have it, 2 seasons ago they were in the bottom 6 for a long time, then hit a purple patch that got them out of it but only just, started last season in the same poor form, then Emery came in, hasn't spent ridiculous amounts to get them where they are, it's still the nucleus of the team Gerrard had and still a few Smith had in the Championship. Big club, looking like they're going to be bottom feeders but the right man with a few quality additions has made the difference, if they can do it so can we, patience is what's needed.
In theory anyone can do it but so many things have to be bang on to make it work, they really are the exception. As much as I like Farke and he’s perfect at present time, I don’t believe he’s near the quality of Emery. We have so many skeletons in our cupboard that will have to be moved on at season end, I think they could prove to be a big part of slowing any rebuilding work we’re hoping to do in the short term
Cos there's nobody else. By the way, Dallas (a ****ing right footed, ****ing right winger) was preferred until his leg break. It's been a weak point of the team since Charlie Taylor left. It's about time it was sorted.
Not quite an exception, Brighton aren't doing too bad, admittedly via excellent ownership and scouting. If Farke gets us promoted he obviously deserves his chance and with the extra experience he's got since Norwich and better backing, he gets the chance to add to his squad rather than having to sell his main assets, there's no reason he can't take us into that little group of teams like Fulham, Palace , West Ham, who seemed to have found that mid table safe haven but then to progress we need that big money investment/owner, we're not going to get that in the Championship losing our better players season on season. Let's not forget too, it didn't work out too well for Emery at Arsenal, perhaps expectations were too high, that's why we have to be patient give Fare his chance, he may not be the man to get us to that middle ground safety season on season but I feel he's better equipped now than he wad previously with Norwich. No matter how bad the financial situation is at present, it's going to get a whole lot worse languishing in the Championship
