You must be creaming yourself.

37 seats out of 150. I can't find what percentage of the vote that represents, but probably about the same as your own far right party will win at our next general election.

It’s yet another success for a populist party in Europe showing the dissatisfaction with the status quo, particularly over immigration. De Wilders got more votes than his competitors which is what matters. He may not end up PM, which is probably as well to dilute his extreme policies, but he will be a major part of government. It’ll put pressure on the EU over immigration which it is also facing from Eastern Europe, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, Germany etc
Riots in Dublin tonight…

Wilders plainly didn't get more votes than his competitors or he wouldn't be trying to form a minority government.

'Populism' seems to me a sugar coating description of what is actually far right nationalism. Pressure over immigration - do you mean Ukrainians?

He got more than any other of his competitors. I clearly didn’t mean in aggregate.

I’d accept Ukraine in numbers because their culture is similar to ours and they have need for temporary refuge. HK is a similar enough culture too. Others may need more work for them to integrate, so mass immigration is not appropriate. And some of those may want to kill Watford which even I think is a step too far.

Yeah, but why don't Ukrainian refugees stay in the first safe country they come to?

There’s nothing to stop countries overriding the rules on compassionate grounds. We have more in common with Ukraine than we do with, say, Indonesia. Pakistan has more in common with Afghanistan than we do. They need to do the right thing, as we have with Ukraine

There is no rule that says that a refugee should stay in the first safe country that he or she reaches.

I wonder, though, why we didn't allow people from Europe - with whom we have a lot in common - to continue to come here to work in our care homes on a flexible basis (you know, free movement)? Instead we are having to grant visas to people from India, the Philippines, Ghana and Zimbabwe (countries with whom we have much less in common in your terms), contributing to net immigration of 700k. Brexit, eh? How are your cognitive skills, Goldie?

If only we could get more of those lazy ****ers on benefits to get off their 'disabled' arses.

He's no different to the Tories, he's just more outspoken.

I read that in he Times. But sssh, in case people are offended.

**** that, I'm spreading it far and wide.

I think the most significant finding was this, though...'Susceptibility to misinformation and disinformation was likely to have played a part in the Leave vote'.

No ****.

Only thing you are spreading is a link
At least don't be so lazy that you won't post the whole article
I could be alone but I really don't want to go to other websites when on here
Might find something More interesting than the ramblings you post

This goes back to your way back comment that only intelligent people should be allowed to vote, huh? Gotta love a democracy.

Well I wouldn't have said that seriously, but it seems it would have helped in avoiding the disaster of Brexit.
