Glastonbury..... There was an article on the BBC about how to secure a ticket .....by joining a syndicate.... Incidentally i went in 1971 and it was free.... now it is a big mega money scene
£120 to go and see Tool at Wembley Arena. Obscene. My first festival was Donnington 1981... £8.50 which, according to the on-line inflation calculator, is £38.50 today. AC/DC, Whitesnake, Blue Öyster Cult, Slade (band of the day, sensational set), Blackfoot, More. Great day. Question to follow... Anon...
Yup. The former is in the ear, the latter joins the jaw and cheek for masticating, and it's strength is realised in our bite reflex, prising someone's jaw open is quite the feat. Over to you.
Yup - they all believed that Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't acting alone. I guess we'll never know the truth... Over to you.
Cheers BB. A football one - which is the only club in England to have hosted full England international matches at 3 different home stadiums ?
They have only played at three home locations in their history and all three stadiums have also been used for England international matches - one of these three was once used for a cup final.
I know that Chelsea and Everton have hosted Cup Finals, and both are large enough for Internationals. Chelsea have only ever been at Stamford Bridge I think, and Everton played at three grounds before moving into Goodison. I think it must be a ground outside of the PL, but cannot think which one at the moment.
You are right in one part Frenchie - outside of the PL which narrows it down a bit. Still a bit to go. The international matches in question were in 1895, 1911 and 2001
All yours BB. at the Racecourse Ground (also for County Cricket) in 1895, at the Baseball Ground in 1911 and at Pride Park in 2001 - all were used for England international matches. The first was also used for the first FA Cup final outside of London. Over to you.
In March this year an Australian sportsman emulated a feat only ever achieved twice before. Who and what?
That's the sport. The two Mexicans are both called Chavez, the two Americans are probably better known - and there are two Australians who I'd imagine are relatively unknown. All six share something unique in boxing.
