We've had Sounness and Allardyce as our managers, had HMRC seizing financial documents and had Ashley and the Saudi state as our owners...there's no way we wouldn't be shafted if people delved into our dealings for the past couple of decades. Sounness alone had 4 separate transfers investigated due to payment and agent irregularities.

 

It's impressive but once you've moved into the higher echelons things change.

I think I tend to mainly refer to it as the Prem or Premier League. The other leagues I tend to refer to as The Championship and L1 & L2, if for historic reasons something is being referred to I might revert to calling them tiers, due to the changes over time.

finally, I made it as subtle as I could.

 

I think we just need to accept that football is as corrupt as the government.

 

Might as well ask Ian Huntley if we should raise the age of consent if football clubs are deciding their own rules.
