Really? I know Aussies can be in your face at times ( I've got Aussie relatives and we crack on about the cricket) but those 2 take it to extremes. Smith always looks a smug bastard and I loved it when he was mocked for crying on the TV in the summer and he tried hard to show that it didn't bother him
Its only a bit of fun on my part mate, I know bugger all about cricket, never played or been to a match in my life, but wind my mates up who actually do, by praising the Aussies especially those two. <ok>

Happy to see Australia win that final. The whole thing was set up for India, even a slow pitch to order.

Australia players turned up and delivered on the day that mattered, India's didn't.

I read a mind boggling stat today that sums up how much India bottled it;

First power play India scored 12 boundaries.

Next 40 overs they scored FOUR.

Four boundaries in forty overs, at home, in a world cup final! Slow pitch and excellent bowling or not, that is an epic choke.

Got to be the best place in the world as a visiting fan to watch cricket

Must be nice to afford it! I had a look at the packages for it - too rich for me!! I'm planning on going to Australia for some of the last test at the start of 2026 and the T20s and to catch up with relatives over there

Boxing Day at the MCG is on my bucket list. It just happens to coincide with me (almost) turning 50 so am trying to convince the missus

Although I say WI best place to watch cricket...my absolute ultimate wish would be Australia Ashes. I have close family in Perth and Sydney but the cost would still be huge.
So the Aussie tour and the Mosconi Cup (if you know you know) at Ally Pally are my 2 biggest wishes!
