Its only a bit of fun on my part mate, I know bugger all about cricket, never played or been to a match in my life, but wind my mates up who actually do, by praising the Aussies especially those two.
One day series in West Indies starts in a couple of weeks time. Hopefully we see some better cricket from England.
Happy to see Australia win that final. The whole thing was set up for India, even a slow pitch to order. Australia players turned up and delivered on the day that mattered, India's didn't. I read a mind boggling stat today that sums up how much India bottled it; First power play India scored 12 boundaries. Next 40 overs they scored FOUR. Four boundaries in forty overs, at home, in a world cup final! Slow pitch and excellent bowling or not, that is an epic choke.
Am I the only one watching us now on TNT sports v WI? Wish I was one of those England fans having a drink in the stadium!
Was watching it earlier on. I'm sure i saw a St George flag with the old SAFC ship badge on it in the crowd.
Must be nice to afford it! I had a look at the packages for it - too rich for me!! I'm planning on going to Australia for some of the last test at the start of 2026 and the T20s and to catch up with relatives over there
Boxing Day at the MCG is on my bucket list. It just happens to coincide with me (almost) turning 50 so am trying to convince the missus
I've been in Aus before Xmas before and it messed with my head - I just couldn't get over all the xmas decs up and me walking around in t-shirt and shorts! Always wanted to watch a test over there though
Although I say WI best place to watch cricket...my absolute ultimate wish would be Australia Ashes. I have close family in Perth and Sydney but the cost would still be huge. So the Aussie tour and the Mosconi Cup (if you know you know) at Ally Pally are my 2 biggest wishes!
