I do not begrudge them their wins - it was good what they did however it was based upon foundations of cheating and as such does not deserve the rapture it always seems to get

Feel bad for Everton that they are being picked on but also feel they should have stayed within the rules.
Derby finished 3rd that year. Imagine the financial issues they had would have been solved by a season in the PL and parachute payments.
Everton worked with the PL and like Leicester didn’t plan for Ukraine (Leicester planned for TV money)
10 points is what it is, club will stay up and use this to galvanise the squad and fans.

While I hear what you say, and agree to a certain extent, it was a case of at the time, if we fail, we may fold as a club anyway. You have to go back and remember where Man City as an example came from, they were in the third tier of English football, they didn't even make autos and were trailing 2-0 in the play-offs up until the 90th minute, reality was 5 mins extra time, saved the club.
You need to go look at the National League as well as South and North divisions, it's a graveyard of old football clubs, and unless you've got the money like Rangers in Scotland, you are going under. Rangers you may remember did get what you want now, relegated to the lowest division of Scottish football.
Let's say you strip City of all their titles and put them in L2, do you think their money men will walk away or will they just use their power to relaunch themselves again, whereas 24 years ago they didn't have the money to do that, so either way, whatever fate you bestow them, it's still going to be a win win, and their haters will still be bitter. Look no further than clubs like Juventus for examples of that.
Well yes I agree but I don't think they'll do that to bigger clubs and make their product worse.
I would imagine that seeing City out of the PL for a season would launch viewing figures up.
