Still only 32, he might be an injury risk, so maybe pay as you play kinda deal.

Yes. I'd be surprised if we hadn't enquired at least given our preference for age, experience and a willingness to take a punt on players with medical history. I'd be even more gobsmacked if his wonga expectations were realistic.

Do any players go for that? Doesn't sound to me as though he would be interested in that.

Well he's earning zero pounds at the moment and I dare say that he's already made his money from the game. You never know, you can all but try I suppose.

Chris Martin has signed for Bristol Rovers, so he definitely won't be added to our squad ! Thank goodness for that

Reported today that Eze about to sign new 5 year deal at £100k a week with Palace. Bad news for us hoping for a January move but also reported that a release clause of up to £100 million may be part of the deal as there is strong interest from several big clubs who are expected to bid ext summer...

This is a very Eze thing to do.
He signed a new contract with us too.

Making it a much more profitable move for us when it inevitably happened.

    Eze is a good lad

Disappointing to see him left out of the England squad. I know he’s just back from injury but you’d have thought he would be in there as a squad player.
Hopefully he will make it in and get that valuable (for us as well as him) start he needs.

Eze really is a refreshing person in modern football. Unlike most footballers he doesn’t run his contract down to force a move for higher wages. He comes across as someone who is grateful for his position in life and loyal to those that provide it. If a club further down the line believes he is worth the release cause of £100m then they will pay it and Palace will be rewarded for their investment in him. A totally fair way of conducting himself. He is a credit to himself and his family. I think that Chair is cut from the same cloth. Unlike others who we are well aware of.

As far as my Palace mate Say's the release clause is still the £80:million that they wanted before City came calling. Whether anyone is willing to meet it, we'll have to wait and see !

When he wins us the Euros he’ll be £150m easily. We’ll be the richest club in L1.

I think it’s something to do with St Ruth of Bewdy in Cornwall being linked to the Ripper murders.
    Just a guess though.
