Ask and you shall receive: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67448714 Unfortunately they've missed and accidentally hit Arteta's old club, Everton. The Merseysiders released the following statement in response: Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
The one where there's too much invested in the "winners" so it's only the "losers" who eat **** The fact it's no exaggeration to say The FA could learn from the Italian authority is particularly damning
It’s harsh on Everton as a number of the issues which led to the losses related to the period of the pandemic and its effects. Clubs could not have made provision for events they could not have foreseen. Clubs were forced to borrow money and projected revenues from activities such as outgoing transfers did not materialise. Some allowances should have been made. Even if the breach is made out, there must be a lot of mitigation justifying a much lesser punishment. This was one breach. City face 115 charges. What points deduction will those merit?
1,150 points, obviously. FFP should've been treated differently during the Covid period. Clubs suddenly losing a large chunk of their income across the board from a freak event? Do something that doesn't punish those without a substantial, dubious, outside backer.
I think clubs were allowed a greater loss over the 3-year FFP calculation when taking into account the Covid years. This is the least season when that applies. Either way, Everton seem to have exceeded it.
Like bollocks would they relegate either of them. Although we would gain 2 league cups and a league title it would mean nothing to me as a fan tbh. Not a dig at you HBIC ... just think the prem and FA are spineless.
From the people who brought you the scintillating Gareth of Southgate. When was the last good decision they ,made?
Realistically the issue goes past The FA, almost as if they aren't there, and straight to the doorstep of who actually runs football in this country There is no way that Skyte Sports would allow any of their "blockbuster" teams to have points deducted as they have so much money invested in presenting The Sheikh Mansour Team and the Chavs as "winners" and them being deducted points (or worse) will expose just what a sham that always was - but on the other hand Everton are expendable so let them hang Does beg the question about where Leicester fit in that scenario, given their FFP skirting was far more egregious than Everton's - but then again, that problem's gone away for now
Probably because it's silly. Richarlison is his first name. Richarlison de Andrade. It would be like referring to van de Ven as Mr Mickey. We're not in a Disney cartoon, either.
