Are they delaying the train or genuinely just sat down at the train station?

Just sat down. A few scabs with their “Jews against genocide” banner but a small gathering compared to the London ones I’ve seen. Nothing against them doing it but just seems pointless apart from making people feel like they’re doing something.

Has there been a single war during humankind where atrocities weren't commited, is there any current war where atrocities are not being commited, Ukraine, Sudan, 5.6 million people fleeing their homes in the latter...

Recently, in a statement marking the six months of the war, United Nations Under-Secretary-General Martin Griffiths said this is “one of the worst humanitarian nightmares in recent history”. He emphasised the horrific reports of rape and sexual violence and asserted that the country has been engulfed in chaos. Yet, he said nothing as to why the war is being fought.

Not fogetting Syria as well...

The war’s humanitarian cost has been staggering. The estimated death toll is 400,000 people, but it could actually be much higher. And at various points in the conflict, more than half of the country’s population was displaced. The United Nations Refugee Agency estimates that 5.6 million people have fled Syria since the fighting started, putting a significant strain on neighboring countries as well as Europe. Even as the conflict winds down, it is unclear when or if they will be able to return.

I've mentioned Ukraine before...

Residents claimed the death toll in the city was 100,000-120,000 – a figure significantly higher than the official toll of 21,000 given by Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s government. One person said 25% to 30% of their friends and acquaintances had perished.

What would you do if the people that massacred your family were firing rockets from hospitals and UN facilities, decisions are always easier when in the luxury and warmth of your home, thousands of miles away in the UK.

Just the 25000 dead in Dresden from our 4000t of bombs. Israel are amateurs really. There aren’t many good guys in war. Just bad guys and worse guys.

I was going to mention Dresden and the carpet-bombing but as that topic had previously been covered off by an Israel spokesman, in a news media outburst I thought it best avoided, but it's a valid point you make.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki ... the worst war crime ever committed...

Nobody quite knows how many died to this day - but best estimates are anywhere between 110,000 to 210,000 ...

PS they had hospitals too...

Probably what the next generation of Palestinians will do after over 20,000 dead relatives since 2008 and over 4,000 dead children in a month ... I'm only human, after all ...

So you avoided the context, that showed three other present days wars, that you ignore, where bigger atrocities are happening, just so you only focus on the Jews and Israeli's, ok. You really don't see your own prejudices.

Not at all ... just skipped to the chase ... you seem to brush over Palestinian casualties... what's your take on the 4,200 dead kids? ... acceptable collateral damage? or abhorrent and never, ever, acceptable / justifiable?

I'm with the latter take btw ... for the avoidance of doubt ...

As the official Not606 Israeli ambassador I think it’s fine.

Not sure your point here, I've always spoken out about Nagasaki, in particular, especially as the bomb was never meant to have been dropped there. The pilots couldn't drop on the intended target, but at the same time couldn't return with their payload, so dropped it on Nagasaki. Although Nagasaki was an original target it had been dropped from the list. I've always pointed at these two atrocities that the US committed, so if you are trying to score yourself brownie points, you failed. I only mentioned Dresden in reply to Westy for the reasons given within that comment.

My mention of both was really just a comment on context of war crimes ... and the irony that the 'guardians of the free world' are actually the worst perpetrators in modern history...

Nothing is ever acceptable in collateral damage, but that's the horrors of war, even more so when the invisible enemy hide behind women and children, when they hide under hospitals and in UN facilities, when they cross the border and burn babies alive, and butcher people's sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers. It's horrendus that 4,200 kids are dead, but likewise it's horrific when 400,000 people are killed in another present day war, it's horrific when 100,000 are killed at another geographic location in the world, 500,000 and not a word from you about them, no focus from you whatsoever, you are anti-Israel and it's your only interest, you care no more for those dead, than you did for any of the other hundreds of thousands killed in present day wars.

I agree with fosse is that a problem for you

You can agree with him as much as you like, but at least type something worth reading, and in your own words.

Anyway, I'm off to watch football now so fill your boots.

if on;y the yanks had stuck with fire bombing.

should point out that while being no consolation to those who died or had radiation poisoning later it is certain that the nukes saved lives .
