Can't imagine this being a good move.....

In a awful mess Yorkshire. Some hopeless people in charge now, some with zero knowledge at all of cricket.

They have chased the diversity ball like nutters, ostracised and ignored a much better saving offer from former chairman Colin Graves because he wouldn't concede aggressive racism charges. All of which emerged from a known racist, hypocrite and bothered of young girls.

Watching the highlights now. Afghanistan are very very decent. Fair play to them.
Loving how well they're doing mate. This is what it should be all about. They've always had handy bowlers but now batsman who can bat and bat the situation, proper team, great to see given they've no money or home etc.
Did you see England in a pickle for champions trophy in 2 years as have to finish top 8? There'll be a panic by the money men if we don't qualify and max retirements from England, plenty be happy to go and play franchise T20 in that scenario imo. What a palaver

Can I ask why it’s not a good move? He ran Newcastle in a very good sustainable way. They hated it as he wouldn’t simply plough his millions into the playing staff and buy them a potential trophy. But he normally does his business in a pretty shrewd way.

Nit like Stewart Donald has bought it fir tuppence ha’penny and s hoping for something to hapoen

I don’t know and have no opinion on the matter, but he did alright without winning anything with them up the road

I’m not sure how it is a bad move for Yorkshire. They’re in financial difficulty and this will massively help them with that burden and allow to push forward, again.

There’s also a buy back clause inserted so once Yorkshire are in a better position they can buy the ground back. Mike Ashley will make a few quid renting it out until such time.

It looks like a good deal for both parties.

Glad I don't support Yorkshire. Being hauled up in front of MPs because of working conditions in his company, drinking pints with his top off etc. Wouldn't want him anywhere near my club personally.

The working conditions he was asked about by MPs were vastly superior to those offered by the same, bloviating and hypocritical Committee members, who offer unpaid internships!

They are also similar to many other places, including Amazon, who do not face these questions from MPs.

Can't say I'd enjoy having a pint with him mind!
