Marti certainly comes across well in his interviews. One thing that does hit you is his genuine passion for all that is football. Yes the styles and tactics but also working with players to get the best out of their skills.
Looking forward to seeing what he can do with our squad over the coming month and going forward.

This league does enjoy eating itself - in that teams can rise and fall quite quickly. So a good run will definitely move you around the league if you can make it happen.

Let’s hope Marti can manage it. I’m sure he will have a lot of support and patience through this month from the fans. I expect the players to put in double the effort to make things happen now.

So for the past (almost) year our team has been trying not to have the ball, now over night (almost) the same players are expected to keep it. Oh dear!

Thing is, they were ****ing terrible under Ainsworth and his ridiculous tactics that none of them bought into clearly, so we can only hope that they now start to improve.
May take a few games mind, which is my main concern.

I listened to Clive and Finney chat for over an hour about Marti on the Open All Rs podcast today....

Summary - excited but nervous, if he doesn't get the players on board we could be ****ed
Nice work.

If the players don’t get on board they could be ****ed as well. I hope someone is reminding them of that, they might think that getting rid of Critchley and Ainsworth means they are more important than the coach.

We're going to have Calm in the dugout.
Kevin Calm, free agent after running down his contract at Blandford Forum Athletic United. Nickname ‘Swiss Army Knife’, a utility player, especially good at changing studs when the game is in progress. He is, indeed, a special tool.
