He was an odd choice I'll give you that, but they did win the T20 WC under him....

They did. But the team picked itself really. More or less all Butler's work I'd say. So is this side mind, and as he's still a player, it's players he's played with, who he knows, who make the cut.

A tournament too far for most of them.

They've always had canny bowlers, now they look like they know how to bat at targets. Just shows the difference a good coach can make.

Contrast the visible difference Jonathan Trott has made with Afghanistan to the inert , gormless and passive Mott with England.

I have really enjoyed watching Afghanistan, not as exciting as the Aussies, or as reckless as England. Always shied away from the 20/20,s and ODI's and missed the start of this competition, thankfully switched on by chance and am hooked on this format and competition its been a real winner imo.
