No but every man and his dog could see both Burn and Trippier were not at the races and knackered. Tino had a wonderful game the other week against Man City. Targett came on against Dortmund and was a significant improvement on Burn.
They'll get a game on Wednesday perhaps and it's all if buts and maybes..substitutions may help or hinder things. Today I do feel he needed to make them though because our players looked leggy. I'll be pleased when people accept top 4 isn't happening though because they'll start to relax a bit and start looking beyond it and into the future.
It is but none of them are games you'd be surprised to see Newcastle picking up results in. It appears there's a big 6 resurgence.
Team today suggests a few changes for Wednesday. Can see Targett, Hall, Livermento, Willock all starting on Wednesday night.
Last season 3 of them had a bad season at once which was quite an opportunity and Newcastle were the beneficiary, but this season that isn't the case , so Newcastle will be put back in their place. It's no bother Newcastle will keep building and come again.
The top 4 will contain 4 of them almost every season. Newcastle only got in because 3 had a crap season in the same year. It's now as you were unfortunately.
Dummett and maybe even Ritchie aswell, i think we have to say **** it on Wed, if we lose we lose but Man U are that bad we still could win while resting our first teamers.
It was a game we never really seemed to have control of. Draw was a pretty fair result. Hate the continued hunt for scapegoats on here. Collectively we weren’t good enough which might have been a combination of tiredness or just the fact that we find it harder to impose ourselves away from home. We need to find a way of giving Targett, Livramiento and Hall more game time so that Howe trusts them enough to use them in close games like this. It’s making the squad look more depleted than it actually is.
