All this crap about progression is nonsense because the club has progressed on every front possible. League position isn't the full picture where progression is concerned. It's a business and it's growing.

It's not just about this season.
<laugh>

It’s only you banging on about progression. I’m merely chatting about this one game in isolation.

EH made a mistake. I reckon he knows it. Unlike you, he’ll probably own it and we win the next 3 comfortably

<laugh>

What has that have to do with the failings made in this game by EH?

He should have made changes to our exhausted first team.

You bang on about SB doing as well as the “great” Rafa but EH is a lot like SB in not having a plan B. He clearly doesn’t rate or trust the players outside of the first 11 which suggests we have screwed up in the transfer market
So Bruce is as good as Howe as well?

These Newcastle fans just can't help themselves.

I had a feeling people would start expecting too much following lasts seasons miracle. If Newcastle had finished 8th they'd be complaining less this season.

The owners and Howe have made a rod for their own back because they overcheived last season.

Thankfully they will ignore the idiots and stick to the long term plan.

We’re going to beat Arsenal

The odds are against Newcastle winning any of the next 4 games in competitions. It's never impossible but I genuinely think Newcastle will lose all 4. I have no reason to believe this 11 can beat Arsenal.

I have a bad feeling people will start moaning and blaming the owners.

He's doing a great job and we're a year or 2 away from competing for trophies and top 4 regularly, but there really needs to be a sense of realisation that they currently are not.

If people can do that they'll enjoy the success throughout the journey.
Of course but at the same time we should be allowed to praise/criticise players/coaching/team without being told “look where we were two years ago” or “look to the future” I’m in the here and now

I agree mate I like to criticise and I think howe leaves subs too late, but he isn't responsible for Pope getting over excited and seeking a cheer from the crowd.

Wolves are a good side watched them a few times so quite happy with a draw.
