Down to you feeling the need to weigh in with your two cents utterly meaninglessly.

"I don't know" not meaning confusion is new to me. Perhaps I don't know what "I don't know" means. But I'm not confused about it.
It's simple. I cant think of a good reason to get random players who we will release in a year or two. There's no confusion about it.

You can't think of a good reason. I provided good reasons. Seems pretty straight forward. If you can't think of a good reason, how does that not suggest you're confused at why the club is doing it?

I make an exception for Vaughan. He slipped into the list without me noticing!

Amazing that he managed to do that given he was the only player mentioned in the part of my post you bolded to specifically respond to! Sounds like you're a bit confused.

When I started watching City the teams were much more rigid.
11 first teamers and 11 reserves.
You only got a chance if terrible loss of form, injury and player sold.
Now with 5 subsistutes and transfer windows it's totally different
Tottenham took off Maddison, Richarlson and Son at the same time!

You came up with a bad reason
Example:
Sensible person: "I cant think of a good reason to build that fence across the road"
Silly person: "It's so cars can crash into it"
Even sillier person: "You must be confused if you cant think of a good reason"

Ah yes, "So the club can make money by selling promising young players" is equitable to saying "We should build a fence for cars to crash in to". Bang on the money yet again.

You got very close to saying "I misunderstood and misread, I didn't know we were talking about players like Vaughan", you could just say that and we could forget this whole exchange. :)

With the exception of Vaughan I dont think we will be making money from these players
I didnt exactly say: "I dont see why Newcastle signed Gascogne"

Alfie Jones bought from Southampton, having never played a game for them, now a first team regular.

Jarrod Bowen brought in as an 18 year old who'd never played a league game, sold for £25m.

Harry Vaughan bought in as an 18 year old from Oldham, now in the first team.

This is on top of the likes of Greaves, KLP, Fleming that came through the academy and before them, Cooper, Cairney etc.

We now have some very highly rated young lads coming through the academy, from Ash junior to Sandat, with the likes of Jarvis flying on loan at Shelbourne. The one thing (probably the only thing) the Allams did well with during their tenure, was improve the quality of the lads coming through the academy and that's continuing under Acun.

If we could just get them out of a portacabin and into some decent facilities, we'd have an academy to be proud of.
I was speaking to a coach in the youth set up about Stan Ashbee. Said he is one of the most grounded and driven young lads he has coached and thinks he will make it in the game. He said his dad won't allow him to get ahead of himself, he has no fancy things and just wears his City gear to come and go from training etc. His Dad has said he will get nice things when he earns them and not because of who his dad is etc.

His said Rocco Coyle is also someone who has a real chance too but he comes in with full designer gear, wash bags etc.

He also said we have unearthed an absolute gem in Sandat.

Allegedly!
I've been to all three and I think that's a myth dreamed up by the Birmingham Tourist Board.

Has Birmingham more canals than Amsterdam?

And, as it turns out, the country's City of Canals. Rather staggeringly, it boasts more kilometres of canals than both Venice and Amsterdam, but its historic waterways are somehow largely overlooked.2 Aug 2022

That's great to hear, but you'd better tell him Pete says he's wasting his time. <ok>
