Please Syd, **** off.Assume this is sarcastic but 1.25 xG v 1.5 does suggest it was a pretty 50/50 game.
Please Syd, **** off.
This is every week toast, we don’t beat the **** sides and then get real excited with middle of the road performances that bring draws or losses against the better sides. He is way out of his depth.
But didnt the pre season mean that we were supposed to be stronger than other teams at the death.... or didnt we train during the break and fitness tapered off...?We noticeably sat back, I also didn't say it was tactics, the players were dead on their feet and seemed happy with a point.
Everyones beaten Massive, we woke Stoke up and they are now winning games, Blackburn were down to 10 and nearly won the game...We’ve beaten Leicester, Stoke, Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn. Those weren’t flukes.
The only “**** teams” we’ve lost to are Ipswich, who although newly promoted are flying atm.
We came up against probably the second best of the relegated teams and their quality took 95 minutes to show through.
We were in it for about 70mins. After that we were shagged and hanging on.
I thought fitness was a strength.
I thought we did really well today and really hope we carry forward that intent into all our games, Southampton are a better team than us and we matched them for the most part, just ran out of steam a little at the end..
And?Boro were struggling near rock bottom of the table but stuck fat with Carrick as the performances didn't match the results and they've now won 5 on the bounce.
The same Carrick who got them in the play offs last season, so has some pedigree at leastBoro were struggling near rock bottom of the table but stuck fat with Carrick as the performances didn't match the results and they've now won 5 on the bounce.
