I've no idea. I'm just working out the cost of replacement parts (ex labour) based on the club statement. I would imagine they'll be fixing them between games 'cos you can't sell a ticket for a damaged seat.
It clearly states they've been landed with a £16,000 bill and the Labour charges have yet to be costed. So the seats are currently out of use because they haven't yet been fixed?
Ask the club. I just responded to your question about how it added up by employing maths. Most contractors/suppliers would likely be paid via invoice periodically though. Saved you a train fare.
Your maths were flawed as you calculated at 30 seats per game as opposed to 20-30 seats per game and I'm not overly sure where you get the 30 games from. Do you just round/make things up like you did with our finishing position last season? As for the train fare, that's part and parcel of supporting from afar, you must be cognizant with that surely?
It's 23 games. Times 30, times 24 gets you just over 16.5k. I don't know how you thought i was calculating 30 games as that would be 900 replacement seats not 690 and the Ave cost would be 17.78 per seat. Maybe check your own maths before calling out others? Actual cost is closer to £23.20 based on average 30 per game, but generously I used rounding up to 24 to demonstrate that it's not an implausible cost as you were suggesting. Increases to 27.82 per seat based on average 25 per game over a home league season, which is still a plausible average cost. And I didn't calculate our finishing position last season, I used our PPG under rosenior, which has been confirmed independently as 10th on form for his 28 game period in charge, as that was the best barometer of how we were doing under him at the time. As well as a 4th best defensive record in the division over the last 28 games he was in charge. Apologies if that's a bit complex for you.
Really looking forward to seeing the amazing team Southampton put out tomorrow. We are so lucky to even be in a game of football with them so I don’t care if we play dull slow football again because players are joining to play that style so I’m really happy as a fan to continue watching it every week.
Obviously is complex if you can't accept the numbers and employ logic. Ah well, you can take a horse to water...
I remember a game v Chelsea in the prem being called off on a Saturday morning due to ice around the stadium.
Yes, but not because of any issue with the pitch, the odd game has been postponed due to the areas around the stadium being considered too dangerous (snow/ice etc).
I seem to remember H&S coming to the rescue of a few teams who were in trouble at the wrong end of the division with injuries etc when there was ice and snow around their stadiums...
