**** me, you'd have thought that they might have provided more leg room with a new stand. Whenever I've been to Anfield, no matter where I sit, have both knees jammed into the seats in front, with me only able to have one foot on the floor at anyone time. It's ridiculous.
You'd have thought. The lower Centenery/kemlyn/sir kenny is particulalry atrocious which is historic issue. The kop is poor. The anfield road end lower was on my last recollection alright but i was more focused on the game. The new stand looks an absolute shambles the close they get to it and only time will tell. I can only assume anyhwere they've not progressed needs to be fixed. Skips and skips have been hauled out of partition walls inside. The steps look unsafe which is basic concrete that went in first so thats a major worry.
FFS Disappointing though. Lots of questions to be asked how the old contractors were chosen. Should look good once it’s all done though.
Fulham issues were known when we broke ground. people forget that. the full build will not be done til next summer as some sections cannot be reached without covering the pitch for more lifts and such to finish cladding.
half a chance thst this is ready for January now. weather is awful for ground works outside. inside there's still a lot to be doing irrespective of what Mr drone thinks. it's in a decent condition though for final flooring and such though. all in all there's a possibility we have a last 16 home tie with 60k in.
the continuing evidence of Buckingham's sub standard work and the total lack of supervision and sign off by LFC continues to flow. The new crowd ripped out most of the old seats in the upper tier before putting in all new ones. We have now seen the first 4 rows of season the the lower tier removed during this break due to being substandard. These seats had been removed at the time of the roof lift off by Buckingham and replaced at the end. All new seats to be in place by the next home game which will be europa? The biggest disappointment is the shabby and despicable work on the forever stones which are in the end someone paying for a memorial to a loved one. They are apparently really uneven according to all sources who can get nearish to them. Quite how LFC did not appoint an independent auditor or surveyor to work for them to sign off on all works with Buckingham prior to stage payments is beyond me. If they did then that person should be sacked and sued.
tonight is the safety even before the utd game. If we pass half the upper tier will be open. (bizarrely this will be right up the gods)
https://www.thisisanfield.com/2023/...urgen-klopps-cheeky-dig-at-caicedo-and-lavia/ Klopp at tonight's event. Hilarious dig
there's some videos going about from the safety event. there's a lad who is a former steward at anfield and wants to be famous for doing match day kids etc he walked the whole thing and stuck his beak in everywhere the safety even split the stand from 6 to 8 off and fans went in as away fans but there was no actual segregation. views seem to be good but the state of it is a shocker. there's no floors done at all. a lot of painting that could be done not done in the top section that's to open. the bottom section that was meant to be a large open fan zone with concessions and such looks a tip. I presume it's last on their minds so fans are getting ripped off big time. the middle section by March they say but I can't see a lot of this stuff finished before Everton open theirs. it looks a decent view and the fans who get him hopefully can add to anfield but they are isolated up there.
safety cert is awarded that means the tip of stand is open and more jobs for the community (short hours albeit
Since SKD can't be expanded they need to develop transparent grass and have seating built beneath the field next so we can get over 70k.
