A little bit surprised to see Stoke favourites to win with the bookies…
Agreed mate.

Our odds are very tasty too.

Considering that we are all predicting a Sunderland win - 2-0 or 2-1 then a flutter is on the cards.

An outlay of £100 plced on the following may be interesting -

£40 - Sunderland to win - 15/8 = £115
£30 - Sunderland to score over 1 goal - 11/8 = £71
£30 - A race to 2 goals - 21/10 = £93

£100 = £279

Maybe we're not fancied because of the 4-0 beating, that would be foolish because it was very much a freakish one off thanks to that twat of a ref. We lost our heads and that's unlikely to happen again.

We'll play this game tight and focused from the off and I think we'll win. Rusyn to get his first goal.

Strange game. They absolutely whooped us at our place last time. Neil did a tactical number.

Not sure how this one will go. May depend on the players available for both teams.

Rubberface otr saying both Alese and Pembele have had setbacks in training and will be out for the foreseeable. What the hell do we do in training and subsequent recovery like, ridiculous.

He’s been wrong a few times. I hope this is another one of them.

Ah, ****.

They were never in contention anyway. Bigger worries over Ballard, Ekwah and Prichard for me. We need at least 2 of those to be able to play. If Ekwah isn't ready, then CM will be wafer thin and IMO will cost us the game.

Feel for AA. Our fault. Completely shredded his Quadricep. Egg shells on that one.

Doubt we will see Pembele play a full senior game until Christmas

Just how bad IS a dead leg? That's 5 weeks and 5 games he's missed. Is it really that bad, or are the club being ultra cautious this season?
We knew Dack was injury prone, but for Mowbray to say he was "almost ready" for the Cardiff game, then a month later he's still not back is beyond frustrating.
Surely Pritch is ready after TM said he could have played v Boro....

Stoke fans all expecting a defeat. Seems like they have a lot of injuries and lost their best defender for 3 months.
Agree re the midfield battle - if we don't have some experience in there, or at the very least a few actual midfielders then we are in trouble.

I thought we chucked the towel in too. Pathetic second half performance. Weak.

Can be really bad when they turn into a deep hematoma. Can be months.
