Not trying to Madeley you here, but is the word up your way that he'll choose England?
Plus, how good is he?
A pretty impressive performance, particularly in the 2nd half. I thought Gareth got his team spot on, Bellingham is just at another level, he is what Gazza could have been if he had the same level-headed approach to life as Bellingham seems to have. Foden and Kane were excellent, and Maguire again was very good, he really needs to get out of Manure as he has been very badly treated there.
He's English, lived in Whitley Bay from birth. The Scotland link is a family one. He'd no doubt rather play for England but I guess he's been advised to keep Scotland open as an option as they're an easier international team to get into. He's bulked up in the last 12 months and looks a really assured player but he's not had enough week in week out game time to really judge his full ability. He's certainly not ready for an England place yet but if he keeps progressing he could be a great player to have alongside Bellingham. He's unselfish, reads the game well and can play a number of roles.
One to keep a close eye on. Which is what Southgate recently said England are doing.
Bellingham is the best English player I've ever seen. I'm a massive fan of Gazza but I think Jude is already better.
Wouldn't disagree Ernie, just saying if Gazza had been more level headed, he could have had a much better career than he actual did.
Been saying since he joined us that Delap reminds me so much of Kane (except with more pace).The way he receives the ball, the way he turns, the way he uses his body, etc. Hopefully his finishing can develop to be just as good as Kane's this season! Kane is class.

Instance in the last game where he turned his man and was going into the box and the cb got back and made the challenge

Bellingham is absolutely going into the pantheon of greatest footballers to ever live

Yeah. Gascoigne was brilliant but he wasn't a model professional. Eden Hazard was arguably one of the best dribblers to ever play in the Prem and look how he turned out after going to Madrid. Our mate Ben Arfa had the potential to be world class and had footballing abilities most pros could ever dream of but his attitude was piss-poor.
Bellingham is world class already and his mentality is spot on. The only thing that could hinder him is some career-changing injury or an off-the-pitch scandal. Here's hoping neither happen.
I’m sure the gutter press are looking for the scandal as we speak.

He may be better because he is more versatile but Gazza could do things that other players would never consider.
I went to see Tottenham v Aston Villa and Gazza got the ball on the deadball line a couple of yards from his own goal. Three Villa players were stood in his way. He was standing on his left foot and it looked like he was going to kick it into touch with his right foot but instead he flicked the ball through a Villa player's legs with his left foot and ran round him and took the ball upfield and was laughing all the way.
