Took me many years to get I to strictly and now I am regretting it. These same sex partnerships are spoiling it for me. PC or not, not for me.
Agreed....Took me many years to get I to strictly and now I am regretting it. These same sex partnerships are spoiling it for me. PC or not, not for me.
I’m 66 . But I identify as 65. So can I come on the march please ?I have often said on different threads that people can be who they wish to be and I don't care about ethnicity race colour religion sexual preference etc etc. My problem is the people who want to force feed us all this political correctness bullshit and feel the need to point to it at every given opportunity. If somebody is gay I don't care if they are on MOTD as long as they are good at the job but don't give me some crap presenter because she is a black lesbian who is **** at commentating on football because it "Makes the BBC look good on some fake quota" If you deserve the job get the job on your own merits not because some bureaucrat or political animal wants to tick a few boxes, as that is worse for the person getting the job knowing that they have not earned it.
Just as a side though but at the moment I am thinking of doing a march for men but only want to include middle aged white males between the ages of 30-65 to explain to the government how we are being overlooked in todays society and made to feel like we are the repressor's of a generation and are the epitome of white privilege when in fact we are guilty of nothing other than being born White, English and straight. LOL
Rant of the day over I think![]()

Agreed, awful advert, there's no need for the marriage and kiss. Goes against what is written in my bible.Agreed....
let gays be gays, but a lot of folk feel uncomfortable watching gays getting close and personal on a TV show.
There is also a current Lotto advert that shows two gays getting married and kissing.
I think that must be offensive to those who feel uncomfortable with it.
You only need one and you’ve seen them all.On NE based TV shows, like Vera, they keep shoehorning in endless black people in a totally disproportionate way. Black fishermen, pub landlords, haulage contractors, etc .... seriously has anyone ever spotted one in real life.
It's like having a show about Jamaica and having loads of white locals popping up for no good reason.
I've noticed though, the Chinese never get a look in and there's loads of them![]()

yep No problem all types of ID welcome even if not really legal lolCan I come on the march please also. I'm 71,but I've acquired a photoless ID from a bloke I met on the beach with his dinghy, which says I'm only 55?
There are all kinds of romantic preferences which aren't illegal.
It's a matter of opinion which are acceptable to us and which aren't.
I don't believe adult men, who are attracted to underage girls, should be allowed to promote their preferences on TV through shows or adverts.
But they might argue that if trans-men, transvestites and transit-van drivers can promote their views why are they being excluded.
If we're being truly liberal we should be prepared to accept eveyones proclivities, not only those we share or approve of.
I think it is different to how you phrase that, Two men showing a true affection for each other is fine by me what I would dislike is two people whether Gay or Straight showing a more amourous display of affection in order to get a response from people around them. IMO Gay Straight or whatever there is an acceptability threshold on public displays of affection and that should be a societal norm as I don't really want to see 2 people tangling tongue's while I am munching on my pork pie and sipping on a pint of fosters down the Queens head watching match whilst a Black/White/Asian Jewish/Muslim/Christian 69 year old Lesbian commentates from the sidelines for Sky sports.Yeah I agree mostly, however, if I saw to blokes kissing in my local pub, I would be offended.
Yes there are so many sexual orientations who demand to be recognised, and accepted in society nowadays, but surely, please don't flaunt your sexual paasions in public places, without realising that others have an equal right to protest.
And to be fair to the rest of us, even we are sometimes uncomfortable witnessing hetrosexual couples snogging in public.
Whatever your sexual orientation, keep it private, I suppose.
