Im already close to meeting 2 lads for a fight now on Facebook who are mates besides this fixture haha

Its mental that i have spent over 3 quaters of my life in Teeaside. Went to watch them as a 5 year old at Aysome park because my mates dad was a huge fan.
I went to Roker 1989 and fell in love with Sunderland the moment i walked up the steps in the clock stand, div 3 andmy whole world stopped. Everything was in slow motion and i couldnt take my eyes off the illumination from the pitch

We drew 1-1 with Wallsall

Blackburn showed how going at full speed can backfire on you.

They went at us, became demoralised when it didn't work and ran out of energy and ideas.

BTW, Ipswich play Preston tomorrow. If Preston lose or draw we can finish the day above them.

Personally I'd settle for a Preston win, I don't want Ipswich to keep their momentum going.

Is that daft?

Leicester
10 9 0 1 15 27
Ipswich
10 8 1 1 10 25
Preston
10 6 2 2 0 20
Sunderland
10 6 1 3 12 19

Na mate, I'd rather a Preston win aswell. I think Ipswich are the ones to worry about out of the two over the whole season. They need a kick in the balls now to hopefully knock their confidence a bit!

Ipswich have come up with confidence and need it knocking out of them ...

... we played them at the wrong time tbh.

BTW, we're massive and will have twice what Birmingham had tonight.

Biggest crowd since Feb 2020

Birmingham 2-1 West Brom

Official confirmation that tonight's crowd - 21,495 - is Birmingham City's biggest since the Covid pandemic.

Good news I reckon.

Left wing back type of player, iirc, and played there in their win against Southampton.

Roberts and Clarke look like being the key to the game the way things are shaping up imo.
Was talking to a couple of snogs the other day and they sounded really worried about us

As much as I hate early kick offs I can't wait for today. Time with family pre game for a couple of beers then hopefully watch boro in survival mode as we play them off the pitch.

Seems strange thinking about the possible line up today and not worrying who starts and who is out as the standard of our squad is so good imo.

God knows what TM will do when everyone is fit

I would like to see just 1 change and that is Adil in for roberts with Huggins back to the left to counteract Jones with his speed. Although roberts didn’t have a bad game on wed I don’t think you can drop ba.

I don’t disagree with either of these in that I would be happy with the logic. But personally I’d keep Huggins out on the right as he offers so much more offensively there. And Hume cutting into the middle feels more natural there as well. I liked it.

I agree with Roberts and Aouchiche but I wonder if Roberts was a bit off because he was central rather than wide. I’d always want to see Roberts starting if possible.

I guess there’s also his hamstring to consider. Might be worth resting him again anyway. I trust TM more than I trust myself on these :D
