Not disputing any of that but was he a vigorous tackler when we first got him, ie always verging on yellow card terrritory?
Seri needs benching Yes he has the ability to make a wonderful pass But hes too slow, breaks our attacks up too much Slows the tempo down too much We need energetic players in the championship
Who do we play next to Morton though? We had all summer to recruit another energetic combative midfielder and we didn’t. Instead we play 2 ball players against one of the most dynamic teams in the division
I thought Morton played with quite a lot of energy last night, he was getting around the pitch a bit.
Don't be so ****ing stupid. I get pissed off big style. After all these years, I shouldn't but I do. I care, probably too much.
Good post DD. I’m not sure how many people defend all aspects of it. I think most people come across as defensive when there’s a knee jerk reaction to a loss that is over the top. I love three fact we have an identity and a style developing. But it is just that, developing. I’m really on board with what LR is trying to do, but also get frustrated when a forward pass is rejected to turn back and recycle the ball. I understand when there’s nothing on, but to do it when we have an unmarked forward option really annoys me. It gets my goat when someone dwells on the ball rather than pinging a quick pass (forward or back) to an unmarked player. Ipswich did that magnificently last night - see a pass, pass it (and with good zip). We see a pass, check there’s not another one, then pass it - it kills the momentum. Drawing on the opposition is different but once they press, get the ball moving! This is where I hope we get to, we’re on our way but we have to accept it takes time.
You said yourself you'd been drafting that post for weeks in your head, so can't have been too pissed off since it was exactly what you were expecting.
So when he says it's not just the team that needs to bounce back against Milwall, but himself as well, he's attributing no blame?
Stream I watched had Ipswich commentary and both Ipswich pundits agreed City should have had a penalty
What about the pen on Morton? Just because he didn't flail around on the ground it didn't seem to be looked at but the Ipswich player went through the back of him.
No I didn't. Like I'd guess many others have, I've been trying to weigh up Rosenior for weeks, and, as posted many times, have said I've been on the fence about him. So meaning that the thoughts that ended up in the post weren't kneejerk but have been bubbling for some time. I wasn't expecting that last night. I didn't expect Rosenior to set us up like that. I also didn't expect Ipswich to play so much like 'Rosieball' (ha ha) and show us so clearly how far behind and off Rosenior is with it. Of course I was pissed off, we lost 3-0. Idiot. -> "So when he says it's not just the team that needs to bounce back against Milwall" In that posted video he doesn't say that. He does though blame the players "we gave it away cheaply..", "from the 1st minute we weren't at the right level". And of course, as every week, "they are a very good team" (which they are, but he helped them significantly imo).
Charming. Can you manage a single exchange without getting personal? It is possible to have a difference of opinion about football without needing to insult the other person in the discussion.
Sinik was a positive Considering his first match in 6 months He looked sharp and fit With slater out for months Doc is a helpful return
