It will end in tears as someone one who goes to 90% of the games live I know what the end will be sadly.
We were poor defensively tonight. From front to back - they found too much space in midfield, perhaps Slater while further forward, also offers a better first line of defence than Traore. We lost an early goal but eventually got on top and looked like getting back in it. If Seri had cut out their ball for their second or Connolly laid the ball off it could have been different. Fine margins but I still think we will be pushing the top 6 this season and not going to change my mind based on one poor performance.
A grain of truth in your comment. Not pre written in draft, but the thoughts have been in mind for many weeks. Tonight just sort of proved the point. Interesting counter perspective from Quill, and fair play for a constructive response, something certain others seem incapable of. I just don't see it, meaning other than being reasonably eloquent and 'tv screen friendly', I don't think there's anything special about Rosenior as a manager. Maybe he can learn, adapt, change but he doesn't seem to want to (arrogant, naive). As always only TWT
If he goes Barca I’ll buy him his beers the **** prefers to pretend to be the number one fan on here it’s embarrassing
We all see it differently but I see progress in the way we play. I see a lot of us in Ipswich tonight with the exception that they move the ball quicker, have sharper movement and go more direct more often. That could be us in another season or so but I see the progress. Some people isolate parts of the performance - ie slow passing at the back - and decide the whole thing is rubbish.
You and everything you say is meaningless to me. You can PM anytime and I am happy to buy you a City ticket and shout you a couple of pints but until then you and your martyr crap take it elsewhere.
I think he is. Its a young squad and will have off days. We saw it today and Norwich. But they did bounce back after Norwich. Lets hope its the same
Just for the record - Ipswich’s second goal started when their goalkeeper drew pressure from both Delap and Connolly so eventually when they got out they had the numbers to pass through us. Perhaps we should encourage our goalkeeper to do the same
You ever seen City at Millwall I live in London so I am not part of a City bus from Hull I will make my own way. Family and friends are like are you ****ing crazy but it’s called commitment and love of my club.
You realise I live between gateshead and Alnmouth don't you? What the **** is a club bus gonna do for me? But for the record, I've been at both dens. The old one once and the new one thrice. That's how I know about Marina.
I've provided constructive responses elsewhere in this thread, but I can copy and paste if you'd like. Ipswich are a well drilled side who have been playing this style of football longer than us which is why they are more progressed and more confident playing it than we are. As Quill rightly pointed out, they brought McKenna in and backed him through teething issues in 2021/22. Having gone up playing this style the side is fully embracing it and the supporters are positive and backing the manager. Will require patience here if we are to see similar results. Not only has LR shown evidence of learning and adapting, but he's done it in game on a number of occasions. Calling him arrogant and naive and any other names you want to come up with doesn't change that fact nor is it 'constructive'.
