I agree we were poor, but most sides will get a dicking at some point. Norwich got one against Plymouth, but they'll be in and around it.
I've literally never heard anybody claim that , loads of teams attempt to play this way

I'm hoping and almost sure that he's just protecting his players in the media because if that's how he's honestly seen things tonight then it's very worrying. Looking past protecting the players though, he and anyone for that matter should be humble enough though to admit when they get things wrong, he hasn't done that publicly but I'm really hoping behind closed doors he'll be looking at tonight and admitting to himself that he needs to learn quickly. That scoreline has been coming.
He was 100% correct though in saying it's all about how we react on Saturday and that will show us a lot about him and the players
