Said that at the time but given the standard of officiating in this division linesman must have thought that the ball bounced off one of our defenders.....

I'd like to see him return but i can't see warnock wanting to join this sinking ship.

Was expecting the usual nonsense but he was quite frank, must be properly passed off.

Totally, but totally, fed-up. Ainsworth does not have a clue, he has got to go. However, as someone just commented, who would want to join this club at present?

There's plenty of season left. I think he'd take up the challenge...

    A very disappointing afternoon indeed.
We had a reasonable first half including a finger tip save from their goalie for our shot on target in that half. It feels like that commodity is rather rashioned at LR at the moment so one has to enjoy it while you can.

I was pleased with our passing and the amount of time spent in their half but there is no finish, no cutting edge and, sadly, no goals.

Too often balls we're put into what might have been good area opportunities for us if any QPR player had actually been there! Dykes is not a lone striker.

Can't comment on their goals as I sit in the Loft end so will wait until I've seen highlights.

The officiating is getting worse week by week. I do agree that we only have ourselves to blame but goals do change games and the decisions were just bewildering.

Coventry should have had about six yellows before they actually got one followed very quickly by one for us in what was just about our first infringement. The lino at our end did get the last offside right on Dykes but not much else. He got dog's abuse and, frankly, deserved it.

    It was a penalty.

Armstrong must learn to be more mature and perhaps learn a bit of guile in how he plays. We scored due to his efforts.

Why no further subs? Saw Kolli warming up but no fresh legs. Why?

I'm afraid it seems there really is no plan B once we go one down and even less so at two or more down. I love GA's passion, commitment and love of QPR but I hope The Board have plan B in place as I rather suspect it will be required long before Christmas. Sorry Gareth. Feels so disloyal writing that but no one is bigger than QPR.

Right where I and probably many more expected us to be. Can't be surprised at our league position really

Way there - Western Avenue crap

Pre match -new bar and met some neat new people thanks to Strolls :emoticon-0148-yes:

First half - both teams and the officials ****

Second half - one team ****, other team really ****, officials complete ****

Way home - Westway ****, M40 north of Banbury, complete and utter ****

Home - excellent spaghetti with prawns and lemon plus a bucketful of Viognier, all is good.

If there are three worse teams than us in this division it’s a damning indictment of the quality of Championship football. And our only hope. Home form like this is biblically bad. On the way to the ground we were saying that, with our incredibly low expectations, this season has been a bit more enjoyable than last. But this is becoming something of an insult to those who turn up.

At least he's not smiling and seems pissed off. I didn't see the game, but does this seem a fair evaluation from GA?

    I'm surprised we're not last
Probably should have put more than 25 on relegation
I used to have a notification on my phone which popped up with the score when I turned it on before I got to the thread
Might turn it back on so I can go back to bed

Willock must be ripping it up in training to get a start. At home, I always want Armstrong to start ahead of him. He gives teams problems and Dykes is far more effective with him on the pitch.
Poor team selection today in a home game where we need to be on the front foot.

That game was there for the taking, for both sides but we were naive and Coventry had more intelligence to play it, we didn’t and lost. It was my first game this year, my second may be sometime away. I like GA as a player and his enthusiasm is infectious but he is not the manager to take us further

    Sb,
Probably one of the best game write ups for the past decade, most impressive and to the point.
Retirement has propelled a blossoming career in journalistic media type thingy should you choose to succumb to your new found talents.

I really doubt we can afford to sack GA and Dobson plus bring in anyone else this season with our FFP situation. Even If they wanted to.

Quick word about the goals. See attached stills.
Their 1st, offside by some considerable and obvious distance.
    Their second. Two lucky deflections.
    Their third. Good goal.
The TV prog didn't show our pen shout.
When you're down, these things seem to happen more frequently.
