I hope he goes down plus all the nuggets from the BBC who have supported these creeps for the last 20/30 years.
The problem is that people in the entertainment industry invariably have something to hide, in my experience, so keep their mouths shut. Sean Connery was supposed to be 'a true gent' but was well known as a wife beater. Ursula Andress was a kleptomaniac who wasn't invited to parties. That's obviously not as bad as rape but it does perpetuate the code of silence.
Slowly but surely they are all getting their names brought out now, I know people who are telling me there shouldn’t be trial by media, I say if there wasn’t the media there wouldn’t be any trial at all. So bollocks to them.
Of course there should be trial by media, it's part of our right to free speech ... ... some of the biggest trials in history have started with a journalist. The following is how eloquent Brand thinks he is but it's just another liar exposed by a newspaper. "If it falls to me to start a fight to cut out the cancer of bent and twisted journalism in our country with the simple sword of truth and the trusty shield of British fair play, so be it. I am ready for the fight. The fight is against falsehood and those who peddle it. My fight begins today. Thank you and good afternoon."
I think it'll hinder any possible conviction. Modern reporting doesn't take a neutral position any more. How you go about not queering someone's pitch these days, who knows.
I know no one who doesn't think Brand is a bellend, most people think he's much worse than that and talentless. So, i wonder, who are all the people who idolise him and give him their money. I know lads who are funnier than him and he's 'a professional comedian' ... ... how do these wasters, like him, Tate and Clarkson, fool so many people so easily.
I think people just feel afraid to say anything because every body likes them , I would of shot him and Ross straight after the Andrew Sachs episode, total bastards, and still the BBC lick their arses.
I'll mention Richard Madeley here as a prime example of celebrities. A "B" list gobshìte tosser who shoplifts, goes on I'm a celebrity and can't hack it, claims to be ill, gets taken to hospital and treated immediately for being a tart. Whilst other deserving patients had to wait. A baseball bat and a locked room spring to mind where a lot of celebs and MPs are concerned
Perhaps so, but I doubt they are in the case of Brand ... ... if he ends up in prison their actions will be totally justified imo.
The issue which niggles at me, is the BBC has harboured all these weirdo for many years. They should be bought to account for not putting a stopped to it.
Gets his money from peddling conspiracy theories these days. Enough people watch his videos for him to get decent advertising and other money
