Some header by dykes. ****e game really but a point when looking like getting nothing is a welcome bonus.

What will Ainsworth say about that?
'Couldn't ask for more from the lads. Great effort to get back into the game. I tell you, this is a group of lads that'll surprise a few this season. Superb support again tonight'
I don't believe any of it anymore.

At least we showed some fight 2nd half even if the quality was down. Superb header from Dykes from Chair's Cross, a shame there weren't more quality balls into the box fir him to attack. I would've liked to have seen 15 mkns of Dykes and Sinclair together instead of hauling one off for the other. We have to try and find some decent attempts on goal to test opposition keepers, as far as I can remember the goal was the only attempt on target ! Swansea were awful and we didn't make the most of the chance to bury them tonight, a late point alot better than a defeat but I feel that's 2 points lost against them. Its gonna be a long season especially if Dykes camt play regularly. Its a shame to see Willock so woefully short of confidence and fitness, long gone are the days if seeing him dribbling past 4 players and bending it into the corner of the net !

Lots to be concerned about but a late draw very welcome and a goal in The Loft end even more so!

I agree would like to see Dykes and Sinclair up front together. Think Willock needs a run of games, there was a glimmer of his previous form at times, with Chair trying to link up like early last season. Without playing both we look awful as only Chair capable of creating something.Think it was his ball into Sinclair and nearly got the identical ball through to Dykes in the 2nd half. What I don't agree with is an opportunity to bury Swansea, I haven't witnessed anything to suggest we will bury anyone with our tactics an starting 11. Boro away was awesome to witness however both teams were poor, we created very little just finished the two chances we created. We are creating next to nothing, Begovic can't kick to save his life, Cook is not much better. On a side note Chair was brilliant tonight, coming deep aka Kane and playing some wonderful cross field passes.

I'm going to check on Rushworth 22 (their keeper) and see if he retrospectively gets done for basically punching Field in the face. If he doesn't, the system is broken (we already know it is).

    Much better ref tonight.

Couldn't really get any worse than Saturdays though.

Field held the team together, and got forward far more than I have seen before.

Chair did a lot, but often too much.

Armstrong cannot play lone striker and cannot remain on side. it is unfair on the lad

Dozzell was OK back in his old defensive role.

Willock showed flashes of his old self.

Smyth has the strongest cross ever,...it is quite remarkable the strength of his crosses... they all seemed to sail over the box and out the otherside. He never gives up. Really rate him, hope he can remain injury free.

Dykes has to play from start

Their goal looked like handball to us.

Our goal felt like it was coming, but until Dykes came on, we couldn't see anyone being able to poke it in the net.

As Colback is out for 2 more matches..team I would like to try is

    Begovic
    Kakay, Cook, Clark-Salter
    Smyth, Field, Dozzell, Paal
    Chair
    Kelman, Dykes

With Willock and Armstrong coming on around 60 to 65 minutes

Until the goal it was very much QPR lite, too slow in the build up and no end product when a cross came in. I can't remember any of our players winning a header in their box. They need to play with more urgency, more bodies in the box. We were a lot lacking to the second balls and a more confident Swansea side could've punished us but they decided to try to hold on to their one goal lead ( albeit handball. )

That was a tough watch, I'm not sure that Ainsworth is the man to take us forward. Do we stick or twist with this clown? Another cliché man out of his depth. We got away with one here. I liked the way that they pressed to get a result though and Ilias Chair took it upon himself to come up with something to change the game.

That was a poor show, devoid of creativity and couldn't sustain any pressure on Swansea.

Two very poor sides, lucky to get a draw from Dykes's great header, that apart not too much to cheer about.
It is going to be a struggle and a half. How we needed a Chaz Austin to make a target for Chair who was MOTM for me.

I think Dykes can be the target you require.

Armstrong cannot as he can't really hold up, and he can't stay on side, and he has a very short fuse.

I think we should try playing a no 10 along side him, and not Chair, who is the creator for the forwards, not the forward we are looking for..

Ainsworth follows a number of other managers who have said Kelman is the best finisher on the training field....which does not translate on the pitch.....just perhaps a run of games might produce enough games to get him to get his confidence to reproduce that form
