Well no very often they don’t for a multitude of reasons. People convince themselves it’s nothing, can’t financially afford to leave, have kids with the person etc. It’s not that black and white. Throw in the fact it’s incredibly difficult as well as long and emotionally draining to get a conviction and you can see why blokes so frequently get away with it even when it is reported.
