I wasn't convinced based on Chief's comments but was prepared to give the bloke a chance.

Still am tbf but he needs to sort out the defence sooner rather than later. Conceding 4+ goals in half our league matches is insane.

I enjoyed the game last night, was interesting to watch the link up between Vardy and Mavididi or not so on ocassions lol, they both score one each and the latter also has an assist - Vardy was absolutely fuming though on one chance that went begging, after Mavididi decides to go it alone, instead of the easier option of passing to Vardy and misses lol - then moments later Mavididi gets another chance again after a great break away by him, and goes it alone again, despite Steptoes earlier words of advice but this time scores, if he'd missed that time Vardy would have been insisting on getting him off the pitch haha. Looks like this boy has some pace on him and was causing your defence all sorts of problems. Not sure how this relationship between the two is going to pan out though, Mav is clearly hungry and enjoyable to watch, but he's not going to get the same sort of test that the Prem would give him, when not linking up could be very costly in those situations although seeing Vardy's reactions were priceless, Steptoe suddenly realising he's getting old and maybe should have taken the Saudi money.

Vardy has mostly been used as a sub with Iheanacho starting ... it's a fledgling partnership but obviously has a lot of potential... Maresca loves his wide men ... and a back 3 ...

Biggest positive for us last night was seeing James Justin back and fit and getting his first start in the League ... ACL and then ruptured achilles in quick succession ... fine young player with a big future if he can stay free of injury ...
