He was born in 2007, which I'm sure everyone will remember, was last week.

He's due to join us in 2025, by that time he could be 7'00" tall <yikes>

Well this is a new one: while he does have a Wikipedia page, he doesn't exist on WhoScored or Football Manager

...oh wait, you thought that'd stop me getting some deets about him? Oh my poor, sweet summer child, who do you think you are talking to?

First and foremost, in the summer both PSG and The Sheikh Mansour Team were after him, the former having a €10.5m bid accepted but he rejected the move, and given he was on their radars that suggests that he isn't a punt and certainly not a cheap option, as we'd likely be paying at least £8.5m for a 16 year old

In spite his young age, and for that matter his 6'3" frame, he's both an imposing CB who is a real menace in the air yet also very comfortable playing out from the back - yet is also quite useful as an attacking option, as he was the top scorer for Hajduk Split's U17s in spite being a CB (which may suggest a few things about Croatian youth football), and not just from headers as he's capable of chipping the keeper from the halfway line

So how to describe him? Well as the comps demonstrate, he has
    - The crunching tackles of Romero
    - The ability to move the ball 30-40 yards up the pitch himself of Vertonghen or van de Ven
    - The chipped passes of Alderweireld
    - The reading and ability to nick the ball off a striker's toe at the last second of Ledders
    - The aerial ability of...anyone remember the last time we had a CB who could head a 747 out of the six yard box if needs be?

But most importantly of all, remember to mute your speakers...

Good luck anyone trying to suggest Levy leaves things too late with that one...

Oh, and on the subject of him not arriving for two years

It wouldn't be a transfer without Paul O'Queef being shown his backside

One interesting thing to consider about Vuskovic when he arrives after turning 18

    Romero will be 27
van de Ven will be 24
Dorrington and Phillips will be 20
Dier will be out the door...right?

I think we might have to brace ourselves for a possible Romero departure around that time. Can especially see Madrid looking at him. More so after Ange has won the treble next season.

I can see us going for another Lenglet in January, to be honest.
Get someone in on loan that's experienced and unhappy to see if they can fit in.
The current situation isn't ideal, but it's also tricky to navigate.

Kelly and Adarabioyo could both be in play given they'd be in the last six months of their contracts in January, though the former is more likely given Adarabioyo seemed disinterested in joining us even after his move to Monaco collapsed

Richarlison: "I’m going to go back to England, seek psychological help, from a psychologist, to work on my mind.

"That's it, come back stronger… it's about getting a good streak at Tottenham, this week I'm going to sit down and talk."

After the photo that done the rounds the other night and the form we all know he’s in I’m not surprised at this decision and hope it works out well for him. I also hope it’s something the club provides rather than him going out seeking the help.

I still don’t know what to expect from a fully on-song Richarlison, especially in this system, but I hope that he can somehow make an impact in some capacity, for his own benefit as much as ours.

Bit longer version from Chris Cowlin.
Looks like someone ****ed him over financially and it got in his head.
He's supposed to be pretty generous to charities and the like, so that sucks.

I feel for him and wish him only the best and a speedy solution to the mess he's been in.

But at the same time, let's be honest, a fully mentally healthy Richarlison means an annual increase of around 6 goals.

If he can hit double-figures for Everton, then there's no reason that he can't do that for us.
He's got 20 in 45 for Brazil and he's scored against us and the rest of the so-called Big 6.
We need to get him in the box and cross the ball to him, when he's on the pitch.
