Never liked him since the day he got the job the same as I didn’t like Moyes.
I said after the final defeat against italy that, on one hand, we should be looking for a better manager, on the other, southgate deserved a crack at the world cup. So i was 50/50. After the world cup was the perfect time to replace him/for him to leave. When he decided to stop on i was dissappointed. We have world class players, if we had a world class manager we could win things.
Do have to laugh at people using Maguire as the scapegoat mind. Don’t blame the apparent Balon D’or nominees blame the centre back who was rated higher than everyone on the pitch bar Walker

We could potentially have a lineup like this, but regardless of opposition he is adamant he wants 2 CDM even to the point of playing one of the best current CMs in the world, (Bellingham) LW to accommodate Henderson next to Rice.

But he’s always good for England so why would he drop him? The 3 players mentioned are hardly world class CB’s themselves, Colwill has potential and will be a regular for us but he’s only got 1 season of football behind him. He was playing for the u21s a few months ago. Maguire is a scapegoat, has been for United for ages and now they’re going to do it with England. They had a Fred and McTominay in midfield then blamed Maguire for trying to make something happen because those 2 clowns couldn’t. If you actually watch him play instead of just jumping on the bandwagon you’ll realise he’s not bad at all.

As I’ve just mentioned he was our second highest rated player only behind Walker who scored..? He was also the highest rated defender in 4 out of 5 games at the World Cup..

Went a little bit further and he had the highest rating amongst our defence in the euros against Italy, Denmark, Germany.. only game he didn’t was ukraine in which he had an 8.3 but shaw got an 8.5 because he had 2 assists.

You sound abit of a nob tbf mate. Anyone with half a football brain can see how inept Maguire is, which is why he no longer has a regular starting spot for Man Utd who would have been happy to see him go to West ham and lose over 35m on him.

The season before he joined United they conceded 54 goals and finished 6th. His first season there was the season Liverpool won the title, United conceded 36 goals just behind Liverpool and City who we can all admit were in a class of their own, finished 3rd. His second season they conceded 44 and finished 2nd in the league behind City.
The last 2 seasons they’ve been nowhere near that level.
He doesn’t start because ETK doesn’t like him. That doesn’t mean he’s ****e. Started 7 games for United in the PL last season by the looks of it, 6 of them were clean sheets. They managed 17 all season and 6 of them came in 7 games that Maguire started. So they got 11 in the remaining 31 games. I bet that’s tough for their fanbase to accept.

He got abused by his own fans pre season,hes out his depth and the move to West ham would have done him good to take a step back, but he wanted millions paid from Man U to let him leave.
