https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66743423 That bubbling sound you can hear from a north-westerly direction is the sound of piss being brought to the boil.
I think it would take a truly delusional Scouser to complain about that. He clearly deserved the red and deserves the extra game, too. It's also Wolves and they've got the Europa followed by West Ham, too.
Football365 have rated Maddison the best signing of the window. I wouldn’t disagree. Hindsight, come the end of the season, will probably indicate that it was in fact some Brighton player. It certainly won’t be a Utd one.
For me personally it was the most obvious signing of the window for us to make and it’s nice to see us make a crucial signing early. Class player and exactly what we were missing in midfield. If he stays fit I think he’ll become a huge favourite.
The sight of their fans wearing the full Sheikh getup at the first game post-takeover proves two things i.) Sportswashing works as soon as fans, especially the entitled ****y ones, think they might buy a few pots ii.) Newcastle fans are, as well as being entitled ****y fans, ****ing thick
I was chatting to a couple of Millwall fans that I know and they're unhappy with the weekend schedule. They're at home to Leeds. On Sunday. At midday! Their pubs have been told not to open, too. I get why the police see this one as a dodgy fixture, but that's a **** trip for the Leeds fans. The best part of a 4 hour drive and then you don't even get to enjoy London. Back up the motorway and back to work the next day, for most of them.
About a decade ago I was using London Bridge tube the same day as a Millwall/Leeds fixture - and was kettled for a good 10-15 minutes due to being in the same place as them as opposed to, oh I don't know, trying to catch a f'n train...
Laurent Blanc has been sacked by Lyon following their humiliation at the hands of PSG. They lost 4-1 and are bottom of Ligue 1, having lost 3 and drawn 1. The fans responded by slagging the players off on the pitch using a mic: Just a reminder that Blanc, the former Man Utd centre-half, is Montpellier's top scorer of all time. He scored 83 goals for them in 8 seasons. Lyon lost 4-1 to them at home a couple of weeks ago, as Lacazette scored and was then sent off.
I consider that utter cowardice by the police. Have a bigger police presence in the parish, and if any aggro breaks out then draconian punishment in court for the perps.
The old bill should fence off an area of Southwark park and invite the stupd ****s who wanna fight to beat the **** outta each other. Those hurt should be charged for their medical care and those left standing get a truncheon beating. That way, true fans get to watch the match in peace, the health service gets a bit more money and the old bill get to be violent without beating up innocent strikers, protestors, football fans, women, non white folk etc. Perfect solution tbf
In today's Man Utd ****show story Paul Pogba has failed a drugs test: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66780283 At least he's not on their books any more, I guess.
Everton are reportedly on the verge of being bought up by 777 Partners. It's an American firm who already hold a majority stake in a bunch of other clubs. These include Genoa, who were relegated, Vasco da Gama, who were relegated and Hertha Berlin, who were relegated.
