What I am about to say on the VVD matter is from the view of that incident and that incident alone and forgetting what has been before. I think the ban is quite fair in terms of length. I think he took too long to go from the pitch and was swearing at the ref. then when off the pitch he was still arguing and then was having a pop at the officials. For whatever we think of the officials and the decisions they make at times, we don’t see the refs abusing the players after getting a load of it themselves. You can voice your disapproval without being disrespectful. when I was watching the game live and saw it. I thought that VVD was out of order. in my opinion.
