    Not at all for me, mate. His current team just got battered 5 nowt off his former club. The most sensible thing for him is to keep his mouth shut. That's what I'd tell him to do if I was advising him. Also, it doesn't matter any way. He's gone, we just won 5 nowt...dont worry about it.

    I think that it's more that he fecked around with his contract for the best part of a year, got his injury, club says let's wait and see how you recover that settled it. Add in his agent pushing for upwards of £20k a week and not signing before his injury( he could still move anyway) played into our hand. Couple that with not actually needing him due to being the fourth highest scorers last year, he was even further down the pecking order.
