Funnily enough, first bit of noise I've heard from the pub full of Bottlers just down the road all match...

Was a nothing game for best part of 30 mins then 2 goals in a minute. Havertz having another half to forget missed a glorious chance early on then passed to Eriksen who set Rashford away, but I think Ramsdale should have saved the shot. Straight form kick off Arsenal back up the other end and a great finish from Odegaard.

Watching in a pub in Portsmouth.
The piratey roar was slightly louder for Utd’s goal.
    It won’t finish 1-1

Pirates? Best not tell Penny Mordaunt, she'll clamber aboard HMS Victory and pretend she's in the Navy again...

Neither team looks any better than they were last year, despite spending heavily this summer.

Arseanal don't look as good as last year. Why would you buy Havertz? What does he do?

I got started with my fantasy team nobbling early this season

I didn't start adding their key players until, like, 12 games in last season

I don't have a clue about fantasy football.

It's simple: if I add a striker to my team the goals dry up, while if I add a defender or GK to my team they won't be getting many clean sheets

I'm reasonably sure I'm personally responsible for Andrew Robertson falling off a cliff last season

<laugh> well that explains everything. I have never seen fantasy football and I have no idea what it is.

And I don't really want to know so don't waste your time explaining it.

I think that Havertz would be good as either a second striker or in Dele Alli's old role.
That basically requires a system that virtually nobody plays any more, though.
Playing him and Odor-guard together pushes one of them our of position, in my opinion.

I think that you need a central midfield playmaker to get the best out of him.
There aren't many around and they seem to have gone out of fashion.

So really a strange decision to buy him.

I would've thought Havertz as a No10 with a pair of pacey wingers who cut inside and score would have made perfect sense, much like Dortmund used Reus for a few seasons

Instead he plays in the midfield 3, and that makes as much sense as Chelsea's transfer strategy

Everyone looks like a pirate. Shiver me timbers. A lot of bad teeth.
HMS Victory is looking splendid. And there are two large frigates docked here too.
And plenty of Utd fans it seems :emoticon-0104-surpr

There's a few teams recently playing two attacking midfielders and a holding player in a 3.
I think that this is their attempt at doing that.

Leaves Rice with a lot of work, in my opinion, but he's done it fine today.
Probably helped by Utd going with a similar system and making odd choices.
Eriksen isn't a central midfielder and both Anthony and Martial are a bit ****.
