We've started very well in our last two games, some of the best football we've played has been in the first 20 minutes of those games. It's been keeping it up beyond that that's been the issue!

As for Connolly, I don't think we need to be so eager to get him into the starting 11. He's doing great as a super sub and Delap is doing well starting.

I thought LIam's comments in his presser were interesting, whereby he said this season we have started to be a bit more front foot and start the press higher up the pitch, which as you say we have seen in the last couple of games for the first 20 minutes we have looked fluent going forward. As he said, this has lead at the moment to be a bit vulnerable if we lose the ball, and now he is trying to find the sweet spot as he called it, whereby we are again sold in defence but effective in attack, and getting the balance right.

In Delap/Connolly, I agree, for the moment Connolly coming on for the last 30 minutes, when defences have been worked by Delap is a good time to bring him on.

I will be at the game today hopefully a few of you on here are too.
But I think I will change my prediction of 1-1 after yesterday.
Leicester 3-1 City

A lot of the gobshites on here don’t even go to home games, let alone away games, GE. Enjoy the day though.

I have a sneaky feeling that 1 or 2 of the new recruits might be in the match day squad and may get a few minutes on the pitch. Or maybe I’m just talking ****e and know **** all… only time will tell.

I was wondering this but do you think they were registered in time?

So you think not having Oscar on the bench will result in them scoring more goals. Interesting.

Not sure I get the logic, but the result seems like a possibility. Hopefully we'll surprise everyone and win.

FFS Rosie....if you are serious about challenging in this league then you should be going in to each and every game expecting to win. That's the comment of a L2 manager who's got an away draw at a Champ or Prem team in the cup
I dont agree with expecting to win
I'd rather they make an effort to try to win

What coaches say to the media and what is said to the players is often completely different. With the media they are trying to take pressure off the players and downplaying the expectation with us fickle fan base.
why not just talk like a normal person
Of course you dont say what you've told the players
but why not just tell the truth and not try to "manage expectations"?
people will soon see through it and stop taking any notice

Not sure those new signings fit a 4-3-3.

Play new signing and new signing as a double pivot, new signing as a false 10 and new signing as Pirlo / Bobby Moore type and your line up could work.

Hopefully new signing and new signing on the bench to come on to shore things up late on.
what's a Pirlo/Bobby Moore type?
why not an Ingram/Connolly type?

He has. But he doesn’t have to aim to play him for 90 mins, maybe try and give him an hour. We could also try and start brightly for once. Although, I imagine this is too much of a risk for Rosenior (not that I’d blame him, given the pressure he is under).
not being fit enough to start games will mean he is too slow compared to fresh opponents

I’m gonna be as optimistic as the manager and say 4-0 to Leicester but at least we tried our best and it’s the taking part that counts.
But, for the avoidance of doubt, you like Rosenior, and you're not at all obsessed with him?

He manages the club I support so I take notice of what he says and does. What’s your excuse for being obsessed with me and everything I say?
