I thought LIam's comments in his presser were interesting, whereby he said this season we have started to be a bit more front foot and start the press higher up the pitch, which as you say we have seen in the last couple of games for the first 20 minutes we have looked fluent going forward. As he said, this has lead at the moment to be a bit vulnerable if we lose the ball, and now he is trying to find the sweet spot as he called it, whereby we are again sold in defence but effective in attack, and getting the balance right. In Delap/Connolly, I agree, for the moment Connolly coming on for the last 30 minutes, when defences have been worked by Delap is a good time to bring him on.

why not just talk like a normal person Of course you dont say what you've told the players but why not just tell the truth and not try to "manage expectations"? people will soon see through it and stop taking any notice
