Pretty sure Gyan has said he was kind of forced to go due to the large loan fee we were getting.

    Bent, fair enough.

However, all were better than Stewart.

We sold Bent for absolutely daft money. Gyan was an absolutely superb footballer, not just a striker, and Kenwyne not only scored goals but was often our best defender.

I never really heard ‘Kenwyne is lazy’ from any season card holders I know

I suppose that's where the quality of our data analysis comes into play.

Gyan was just brilliant. So much talent. I look at some of the strikers in the premier league and they are miles off his level.

I remember his first touch, comes on, collects ball lovely kills it dead then angles a ball 60 yards over park almost inch perfect. Remember just turning to my pal we didn’t need to say a word.

The lad could play, big time.

Yep. Absolutely wasted his talent due to chasing money. He could have played for any team in the world.

100% mate. He’d have gone to a top PL club for major money if he’d stuck around that season.

Shame it’s not got the brilliant assist from Henderson on one of them:

It's not for me as I do still think we'll do enough but I am now at the point where I can't see everything that has been mooted by people all summer materialising with only 30 hours left now.

The four or five departures that have been mentioned as well as bringing a few in seems a lot to fit in to such a small amount of time - administratively as much as anything.

Preston North End are not expected to make a late move for Sunderland midfielder Lynden Gooch, despite recent transfer reports.

The Lancashire Post believes that there is nothing in the rumours, which came out earlier today, and a move for the American can therefore be ruled out. A report from Sunderland Nation claimed that PNE, along with Stoke City, were battling it out to sign Gooch.
