One of his 1st days here, I was in the meeting with cm ,sd ,js and 6 members of the business club.
He said then he will not bank roll the club with his money, that was the same meeting he announce the club must be self sufficient.

Honestly none, we get on fine, it just seemed he was going to do an Ellis but with tighter control.
As I said I got a bollocking 2 weeks ago over 1 bit I posted, so it's all I'm gonna say mate.
I'm off to graft so chat later.

My last bit, I agree, but to get us where we need to be self sufficient, we needed a chuck of initial investment most of the done deals have been loan or low cost outlay, hoping it works out.

    I don't see any problem.

He's been honest from the start and had to unravel the mess left by Donald who was selling off our talent and wasting club money.

Suggesting KLD is doing what they did, and pocketing club money, is a cheap shot imo ...

... and not the first time you've done it.

But Ellis ploughed millions into the club and got no where!

Agreed, he has invested - as ive mentioned several times - in the right areas

    Short invested but was clueless

Donald n methven were shocking owners who just asset stripped the club

Anyway... heres hoping for a busy couple of days

I always assumed the club had its own bank account not a shared account with KLD <doh>. Money will be no where near his bank whether it gets spent or not!

And to make out he has spent **** all is bollocks as well mind.

Trust is a funny thing Bob as I am sure you have learned in the last few years, Ellis made some poor choices but I think his decisions were made with the right intentions. SD and CM were more cynical with the fans and led us a merry dance until the facts came out and the lies were discovered.

There’s been significant investment from KLD since he came in. I honestly have no idea where this narrative has come from that he’s tight/not engaged etc. Unless it’s just those enviously pining for oil riches to come in and be indiscriminately spent?

Regardless of financial investment, the transformation to the club in his short tenure is phenomenal. We’re an infinitely smarter outfit now and on so much of a better foundation for the future. The club’s in such a good place relative to just a couple of years ago. It’s sad to see how quickly any goodwill disappears from much of our fanbase at the first sign of a ‘challenge’.

You don't buy players like Ballard, Ekwah, etc, for peanuts and their fees, wages, etc, weren't paid from sales. Donald and Methven were absolute poison in comparison.

Anyway, this thread if for transfers ...

... I just couldn't let that comment slide.

So a two year deal on great coin is more then acceptable he just don’t want to be here so like I’ve said before he can **** off, we only want players that want to be here.

That's a bit contradictory. It's not self destruction on the clubs part to say two years given the player's injury and previous reticence to commit.
Fair enough that. It's no secret really, it's been said repeatedly.
