Here are the stats that prove Tom Hundredstone was about 7.5x better than Seri:

Huddlestone - 242 premier league apps
Seri - 32 premier league apps

We conceded 26 over the 28 games which is the best just looking at it quickly

 

Got any stats to show how much better Huddlestone 21/22 version was than Seri as was my reading of that particular post?

It was good for third in the league. Only Sheff Utd and Burnley conceded less. We did have the biggest difference between expected goals conceded and actual though but there's some huge outliers like the Sunderland game

 

But still, based on that you can see the logic in being a little more open to create more, as creativity seemed to be our achilles heel more so than defending.

 

No I agree. I think we will find balance eventually. We've had 2 really bizarre games in Bristol City and Norwich
