Adam Blackmore has said that he’s heard that Adams doesn’t want to go to Everton. Went onto say that Palace remain interested.
He did well last season I think, his only season so far at this level. The fact he’s 27 and has only one season at Champ level doesn’t look good, but I can’t really recall anything about him on the few occasions I would’ve watched Sunderland play. He’s also injured until October, so I’d like to think if we are signing him it is to join the squad as well as Adams rather than his replacement. If Adams goes we get Stewart and someone else
Can’t we just move onto another target ? Swansea and everyone involved with them at all levels seem determined to be difficult. Even the guy who only has a job there because of saints. Given what he was signed for it does seem like they are massively overvaluing him. And relative to Piroe as well. A striker who scores at this level should be worth significantly more than a defender even if they have an option to make him have 2 years on a contract rather than one I guess we can’t complain given the fees we have commanded.
