As a father of two premature girls, both of whom spent seven and three weeks in Special Care at the RVI, I’ve followed this case closely.

It’s incomprehensible that someone who supposedly wanted to care for sick babies all her adult life, could do this. Born evil, or made evil. Having worked in mental health services, I’ve seen both. I wonder if she now might admit the crimes of which she has been found guilty.

As you have worked in mental health, I'll ask you the question, would it be possible for her to have multiple personalities? Unfortunately the evil one gained control and no one spotted it, or helped her control it? Therefore maybe a jail sentence is more appropriate to a death penalty, but to what gain? Its a difficult debate, but one that should be discussed. Hopefully the truth will come out and also, those that managed her, should also be arrested.

Personally dont mind paying taxes for this fkr as long as she is getting a good kicking every day. Hanging would be an easy way out and she does not deserve that..

A lot of cash will be spent on keeping her safe though.

It won't all work, and she'll get a hiding or two. But every day would be fine by me.

She will not be mixing much with the short sentence prisoners
And yes she will be protected as will the rest of them type of prisoners
If these prisoners are assaulted some poor member of staff will be having to answer questions
These women are very dangerous and have a tendency to play mind games
Let’s just keep them in prison for as long as we can

The caregiver then presents the proxy as being sick or injured. Permanent injury or death of the proxy may occur as a result of the disorder". Typically it's either for a sense of power or to be seen as a "hero" by helping to try and resuscitate them and attract attention to themselves. Some, though, especially America, do it for financial gain (donations, go fund me and so on). I guess we'll only find out when the psychiatrists get to her. This, if it's true, in no way excuses her for what she's done, but it might help us understand why. To me it's unfathomable that anyone could do such a thing, and I hope she rots in prison for a very long time.

Never a truer word said. Myra Hindley played on being the naive girl influenced by and terrified of the evil Brady and suckered people like Longford into believing it. Yet people who knew her before meeting Brady have said she was often an unpleasant, nasty bitch and she got as big a kick out of their crimes as he did.

Not that I know of mate, I said this before in an earlier post. I would still prefer to be tortured for 10 years than be hung and dead. Not the best of choices though is it?

In America they have something called the innocence project where lawyers work pro bono on cases which if went to trial now would produce different outcomes. Often it is DNA or similar scientific techniques that can prove innocence. DNA techniques 10 years ago were not what they are now and new methods are producing different answers. A big thing is false confessions too, which is now accepted as something that occurred in circumstances where police interrogations were flawed. It is not uncommon for some of these to be death row inmates.

In cases where it is cast iron and irrefutable maybe so. I am just not so sure how many of those cases there are in reality.

I’m the same mate, but I was thinking more in the case of Lee Rigby where he is on cctv killing the lad, for me he wouldn’t even get to court, I would just take him away shoot and bury him, all he deserves.

That is a perfect example of zero doubts. I agree with you. There was a story recently of some fella killing his wife live on the internet I think I heard. Same for him, no doubts.

I think if you have enough evidence to prove it then it shouldn't even have a defence. Anyone who is horrible to kids or defenceless animals needs hung. Cant blame mental health issues on being atteacted to children. However all this AI technology opens up doors to people being framed without proof.

I've always been 100% opposed to the death penalty...but now and again along comes someone who its difficult to defend... Huntley definitely one and this bitch is another, for me they have lost the right to their life

Suppose, in every case there is that possibility - even in the face of overwhelming evidence - that a person is innocent. Not for a second suggesting this monster is innocent, but there are examples, Andrew Malkinson being one of them where someone is convicted incorrectly. You can release someone from jail, but not from the grave.

I also think that death is the easy way out for some of these animals. Let them rot in a rat infested jail

It Is to remove them from society and look after them in a care and human fashion
