Despite the issues it seems like we are slowly improving. Lots more to be done but at least there is room for optimism (and getting on the Staines/Stroller wagon of fun). Seemed like some positive comments from those there. Colback positioning seemed odd - I was expecting him to slide into Dozells position when he came on. Fitness and injuries are worrying - I thought we were supposed to be solving that problem … Mr Fitness Guy, what’s going on??

GA said something in his post match that suggested they didn't push the fitness as hard as they could in pre-season to try and avoid the soft-tissue injuries that plagued us last year. He's expecting them to get fitter. Certainly not an approach I've heard before.
Did he say what was up with Armstrong? Didn’t look like cramp to me.

Didn’t deserve to lose that & draw at least but goals count & that seems our problem, Armstrong unlucky & then should’ve squared it for chair but didn’t look up last week at Cardiff, not bad performance at times, Ipswich moved the ok but didn’t threaten till late, badly missed Dykes, thought youngsters did ok when on, we move on
As you said goals count, and if you cant score a solitary goal at home against a newly promoted side who have the same players largely as last season you dont deserve anything.

Really?
Every report I've seen had us with 3 at the back and wing backs.

Smyth was more advanced right side of midfield in front of Kakay at RB Cook and Fox the CB's and Paal the LB. Thought we were better organised at Cardiff with the 3 at the back. Sinton was sure it was 4 at the back from high up on the gantry in the Stan Bowles stand and it looked like it from the stream.

Seems opinions are divided.
Sounds like a fluid formation anyway.

Sinclair could have easily gone down before his goalposts effort. I guess I admire his spirit but he was clearly pushed. Anyway from what I saw we looked good for the most part. COYR's.

Just watched the Sky highlights and Sinclair looked a different man. That speed and keeping the ball is a difficult ask - he did it with aplomb on the highlights. Very promising if he can keep it going. Horrible apprehensive defending for their goal. Nice to see us having the majority of the good chances … on another day there would have been a couple of goals in that game for us … and three points.
Need a couple more bodies in before the window closes.
We move on and need to keep improving our fitness, injuries and our opportunities.

Think he implied it was fatigue/cramp, said he'd get fitter. Sinclair was out applauding the fans at the end so fingers crossed not too bad.

He’ll learn to manage games better with time. I think half the problem is he tries too hard for no return chasing lost causes. Take a leaf out of Richards’ book and don’t get beyond a slow jog ever and he’ll be fine.

I thought yesterdays game was entertaining and I left feeling quite positive. Problem is all these feelings of positivity will soon unravel if we don’t get a goal scorer in or continue to fail to score.

Definitely need a result in our next game. I don't think fans are going to take another cheery GA interview celebrating a loss, he's finally recovered some goodwill but he'll burn through that pretty quickly.
