I like Pritchard, but your first paragraph gets me more excited, Dacks obviously not a 9, but i thought his movement was good on Saturday especially as thats a player not yet upto speed, I think hes going to be a cracking signing for us as a 10, after initially being disappointed. sure hes going to get us more goals for definite maybe sane level for assists as Pritchard.

At that point something has to give to develop the two you mention & I think given Pritchard cant play 90mins & his injury record unfortunately its him, we will move players on we like both personally (09 will leave, hopefully not for couple years) & ability wise as the club progresses.....but hey spin it, what a feeling moving players on in that respect than paying Rodwell to fxck off & sacking others!!!!.... Uncharted Territory for us this as we cant normally wait to get shot....signs of progress in my mind

Yep,definate progress. Our player management is light years away from where it's been in the past. Seems to be the consensus that both Batth and Pritch have been told there will not be a further contract offer, giving them time to find a move with a year left on their current deal.

They dropped there arse in the summer when they tested the waters and loads kicked off.
Was going to be Farioli or some lad from salzburg

For anything to qualify as 'kicking off' doesn't it have to be more than a few moans on social media ...

... from memory, this board had as many people in favour as in opposition.

it won’t have been purely public opinion, the guy actually did a good job last season, if
Anything KLd is putting his personal preferences aside for the good of the club.

That’s nice of him, now tell him to start putting he’s hand in he’s pocket for the good of the club :emoticon-0102-bigsm

But i also dont want them just signing any player just to get numbers in

Anyway heres hoping to a new signing today
It is what it is but I think I last summer was when we needed more than 2 strikers and Speakman chose 3 and that call ultimately made it hard. I guess what I’m saying is there’s a lesson learnt there as long as we learn it

Yeah I meant on socials mate. People going to extremes either one way or the other. There were more than a few upset at the prospect of Mowbray getting the sack though.

For the record I'm not too fussed of he stays or goes as long as the correct decision is made for the club. Although I did think he needed peddling for playing Gooch at centre half and Roberts at right back <laugh>

Personally don't mind Pritch leaving.

He's an alright player, but doesn't contribute as much as a 10 should, and he's blowing out his arse by 60-70 minutes usually.

I think Dack is better, and Jobe/Rigg have the potential to be better, so I'd rather rotate those 3 and let Pritch go.

If his wages can go towards a striker or defensive midfielder, the squad will improve.

As for Danny Batth, I'm on the fence. Last season proved that him alongside Ballard doesn't work, as it was when we performed our worst (think only 4 clean sheets came when they played together?). We were stronger with Batth alongside O'Nien, but Batth isn't going to replace a fully fit Ballard these days, and Seelt is supposed to good.

We haven’t really been playing a number 10 this season, the midfield has evolved to more of ekwah sitting and neil and Jobe ahead

Pritch doesn’t suit playing as an 8, Dack seems to have the physicality to do it but can also play as a 10 if we were to change it mid game

Speakman and team must think Pritchard not worth his current wage to be a system change option off the bench

Ok so younger. Cheers for confirming my point. A season's football younger. Players like Prichard one security too, if they are to play up here that's what they want. They have been told no contracts are on offer. So they will move on unfortunately.
Doesnt explain the 1 year option though.

Just for clarity then. What people think of Tone has no impact on signings. That is Harvey and Speakmans look out. Tone just plays the hand he is dealt.

That sounds like they don’t trust Tone then to deal with the hand he’s being dealt, doesn’t it ?
