So we saying footballers careers start at 7 now ffs. Yeah, well ok, fair enough, I suppose they do in the entertainment industry so why not footballers, I mean looking at those stats was he busy doing pantomine or something that game?
His professional career didnt start at 7.
But he has been wearing the same jersey since 7, so it has to be odd wearing a Man United kit all of a sudden when he has only known one thing.
He was probably worried about whether he'd get ass ****ed by Mason Greenwood in the changing rooms, Shawshank Style, and so couldnt concentrate on the game :bandit:

Pretty sure if I moved to a competitor after doing a few years at my current company and on my first day did a massive **** on the MD’s desk I couldn’t just say it’s a bit weird working here for the first time.

You could if you worked in the scat pr0n industry. <whistle>

I dont think Mount not grabbing a goal or assist on debut amounts to taking a **** on the MD's desk tho, to be fair.

Millions of kids have been wearing a football shirt since the age of 7, normally by the age of 24 though they've grown out of pretending to be a world class footballer.

What this fails to see is that Fernandes, the captain, was also ****e. Casemiro, about a stone heavier than when he went away for the summer, was ****e.

These are his midfield team mates who are established, yet the focus is on a bloke playing his debut who got ****ed over on the pitch by his senior peers, just because he cost a few quid.

To judge this on one game is utterly ridiculous to be absolutely honest.

If he's still not cutting it by Christmas then fair enough, but he needs a few games under his belt before I decide he's a [HASHTAG]#failure[/HASHTAG]. (TM @Sucky not606)

I was never Mounts biggest fan, he didnt really come along as much as we'd hoped, but the sentiment in me wanted to keep him a bit longer to see if he would kick on.
BUT, come on guys, he had a **** debut, but dont judge a signing after one game ffs.
If he still has 0 goals and assists by Christmas then maybe he will be due some ****, but one game, when its his first time playing in a non Chelsea shirt (which he has been doing since he was 7), is a bit harsh to judge him.
Okay but we can we judge him on his time at Vitesse, Derby and Chelsea? That’s what I done and he’s always looked bang average.

LOL The Football league have docked Reading another point!
When are they gonna leave Reading the **** alone.
Yes they ****ed up their finances but can they just dock some points and leave it at that.
I swear they are just sat round bored in the office.
"sigh* Im bored, what you guys wanna do?"
"Erm.....dunno, its been a few weeks since we docked some points off Reading.....wanna do that again?"
"A'ight"

Is your hearing in September or October...? Innocent until proven guilty and all than nonsense, but:
  • The Premier League has referred Everton to an independent commission over alleged Financial Fair Play (FFP) breach in the 2021-22 season.
  • Everton claims to be confident about complying with Profitability and Sustainability rules despite the allegations.
  • Everton's reported pre-tax losses have been over £100 million annually for the past four years, totaling £417 million.
  • FFP allows a maximum £5 million loss per year, potentially boosted by £30 million equity injection, resulting in allowable losses of £35 million annually or £105 million over a 3-year monitoring period.
  • FFP regulations have been adjusted due to the impact of COVID, assessing 2019/20 and 2020/21 as a combined period.
  • Everton can deduct costs from their new stadium for certain years, with an estimated value of £17 million.
  • An adjustment for COVID losses, totaling £90 million, can also be made.

  • After all adjustments, Everton's adjusted loss is estimated at £173 million, which exceeds the £105 million target.
  • Including player trading losses of £88 million (averaged at £44 million) from last year's report and £50 million from "further market analysis," Everton barely meets the target, using financial maneuvers.
  • Everton's inclusion of a £42 million player impairment due to COVID-affected transfer market values is noteworthy.
  • Other clubs have not reported significant player trading COVID losses, with Aston Villa being the next highest at £13 million.
  • Everton reported a substantial COVID loss of £170 million, significantly higher than other clubs like Aston Villa (£56 million) and West Ham (£53 million).
  • Everton's deal in 2019 with USM for a £30 million option on new stadium rights raises concerns.
  • The outcome for Everton's case is uncertain, but penalties could involve fines, spending restrictions, or even points deduction.

Hearing in October you say.

will be before or after city/Chelsea? Seems strange club is spending with all this hanging over.
