If Lokilo wasn't first choce I think we've struck gold there, if the other wingers mentioned are as good or better it could get quite exciting. I never understood the love for Tufan as Traore is a more well balanced player, but Tufan today was unplayable, if this Twine is as good as everyone is saying he is then that position is well and truely covered. There are going to be a lot of unhappy players that can't get in the starting 11 (OK we'll have rotations, but he will probably be looking at keeping a starting 11 and not rotating too much), there is the AFCON as well so we'll lose a few for 6 weeks which will benefit a few players and it'll be up to them then to stake a claim to a starting spot and not lose it.

Lokilo is very raw, he's not ready to be in the starting 11 week in week out, he's a good addition to the squad, but I'm not sure he'll be starting if we get the players in we want and have a fully fit squad

Yeah he looks like he’s in the same mould as Ally, lots of pace and trickery, but needs to work on the end product.

Definitely! He looked a little shell shocked a couple of times in the game when things got a little physical for him. He'll need to get used to that and fast.... With more minutes, his confidence will grow im sure

Not a massive surprise after his pre-season form, but I see that Philogene came on for Villa today.

I was impressed by his graft, not something that always comes naturally to players who are being given a bit of physical stick by defenders. He did play a lot of games in a poor League One Donny team during Covid though, so he must know what to expect from EFL football.

He's kind of got away with being responsible for their first goal, seeing as we went on to win, but he switched off and was too late in tracking their lad back.

The main worry I have though is that he seems unable to kick the ball with his right foot.

I think, like most of our players, they thought the ref whistled for them to take the free kick again, but there was some confusion which is why Lokilo looked to switch off. At least thats what Rosie said.

The rest of the team made sure he knew he was at fault! He is very one footed and hopefully that will be worked on. He looks like he could be a decent addition to the squad and add something from the bench

Agree that he looked a bit raw, or at least not fully match fit / prepared for this level at times, but it was a very promising showing. I'd guess he'll only get better as the weeks pass and, from today's showing, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he becomes a regular starter.

England captain Harry Kane made his Bayern Munich debut as they lost 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup.

Just hours after completing his £86m move from Tottenham, the striker started on the bench and came on in the 64th minute to a huge cheer at the Allianz Arena.

Traore is absolutely wasted out wide, first half today he was barely in it, but 2nd he came inside loads more, virtually playing in a central midfield 3 with Coyle at RWB, when he gets on the ball in the middle he, like Tufan, is class in my view.

Wondering who this highly-rated winger is we’ve bid for permanently. We’ve heard about Twine, Bird and we’ve been linked with several keepers.
