This is one of the most intimidating stadiums to visit and sometimes worse when you try to leave, especially if your lot won. You should be able to leave whilst happily chatting to those out of work ex-dockers about how crap our team played and how thoroughly they deserved their win Then get the hell away as fast as you can to safer spaces somewhere in Wiltshire. What I am trying to say is that I'm not really expecting any points to come back down the M4 towards Bristol, so enjoy your day if you are feeling truly brave.
Bristol City predicted team vs Millwall: Sam Bell conundrum and the big left-back debate Bristol City take on Millwall at The Den in what promises to be an emotionally-charged occasion https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-predicted-team-millwall-8672671 Bristol City (4-3-3): Max O’Leary; George Tanner, Zak Vyner, Rob Dickie, Haydon Roberts; Matty James, Joe Williams, Jason Knight; Sam Bell, Nahki Wells, Anis Mehmeti
I’d be very happy with a point today Millwall played very well in their win at ‘Boro last Saturday and this is a tough tough game for us Up the City !
A point would be amazing .. but Millwall still on the crest of a wave from last season .... After a draw against a team not anywhere near full strength last week it will be a really big step up. SEEMS that should AS be out for 2 months ...10 games ! we would have played without him anyway! ...wonder if that will affect the add ons?
Millwall unchanged Joe Bryan in Gary Rowett's starting XI. The same side that beat Boro on the opening weekend of the season.
8? ACADEMY players in todays squad Blackburn ..Leicester..Millwall only 3 teams not playing a previous 23/24 winner ...
Brilliant block by Vyner He's bringing this into his repertoire and he dives down low to deny Watmore as he pulled the trigger just inside the area.
City win a corner Bell was on the charge upfield and had Sykes to his right and Wells making an inside run. His pass to the Bermudian was a little underhit allowing a Millwall defender to make an interception but in doing so he booted the ball behind for a corner.
