I'm Ignoring the entire thing and rocking in a corner due to our defensive shape. if we buy a teenager for 6 or another player is not really changing what we've prepared and worked on for 6 weeks in preseason
I still hold out hope that Klopp will mark pre-season down as a failed experiment and go back to playing proper football.
If he was Maradona, I could understand allowing him the footballing freedom, but he isn’t. He’s a very talented footballer but not one good enough to build a team around and he has defensive frailties
Leicester have been flogging the squad for over a year and their summer activity as been poor. They've got plenty of choice at GK though
That young lad at lw was half decent. Ndidi is still a right clogger Pereira at rb, Faes and vestergaard are two lumps at cb Winks and Hall round out that midfield I don't think they'll be awful but we will see
They won't be awful but they won't be great either. I think they'll be in the championship beyond this season
Could be, I wasn't impressed with their manager anyway. A rude awakening in the championship awaits cos dicking about on your own goal line won't cut it
Perhaps that's a good reason to just stick him in midfield and be done with it, but in that case we need a regular RB - the "hybrid" role just doesn't work. Sané's goal for Bayern was an example of everything that is wrong with this system.
If we have learnt anything over the years, it should be, that preseason form is in no way, shape, or form a prediction for how we will do when the season starts. Can't get too optimistic, or pessimistic about the season from a few preseason warm up sessions.
Federico Chiesa has rejected a move to Newcastle, there is a speculation that he wants Liverpool move.
